I remembered it got rescheduled from a Saturday to a Monday by her manager because it got leaked. It could have been just the voiceover, but it was a lot of logistics and NDA’s signed for just recording a small bit for the Canadian Olympic team in my opinion.

And you’d think a voiceover was something she could have easily recorded in Vegas. Any old studio - even RC’s home studio! - would have sufficed.

And Berklee has some of the best session musicians in the country, if not the world.

By the way, it’s not just Hoda acknowledging this rumor. On the day the CBC interview aired, Adrienne Arsenault was actually reporting from Paris about Olympic prep, and in one of the radio interviews she did to promo her Céline interview, she, too, mentioned the Olympic rumour. It was actually in reference to the official Olympic Twitter page posting a clip of Céline singing in Atlanta, and she said how that made a lot of people wonder whether it means Celine might show up in Paris.

Along the speculation she's doing it: Depending on how much the organizers hunger for Céline's participation, if it's on "ABSOLUTELY! We'll accommodate as much as we can!" levels, maybe they're on a flexible arrangement? If Céline feels well enough to do it, the slot is hers or can be inserted as a dramatic surprise; if her health is poor around that time, there's are enough acts lined up/has an alternative on standby. In this sense, Céline can be coy but is also speaking truthfully that she doesn't know what will happen.

 

Well, let's remember this isn't about her. It's about the athletes and showcasing the host country.

We've built this up so much (not without a lot of help from the media!)... imagine all we get is a throwback IG story to Atlanta and a pic of Tika the Iggy prancing around in Olympic gear... (a la Met Gala)

 

Anyway, I'll be in Paris. Not because of a potential Celine sighting but because I love the Olympics and have spent a small fortune on various event tickets (though not for the ceremonies.... just too much!) And as someone who's been hoping for Celine to show up ever since the Paris games were announced, well, if she does, that would be pretty sweet icing on the cake!

That I’m not sure, but she said in the doc that she had to “leave for a quick change, and never came back”… I remember that happening once in Vegas just for one song.

It was so sad to see how much moments like that ate her alive and truly bothered her in the documentary.

 

I’m sure it was heightened emotions for her because she didn’t know what was going on/ causing her issues.

 

She cares so deeply about the fans perception of her. Whereas artists like Madonna don’t mind keep an audience waiting for hours and are just (seemingly) less empathetic than Celine.

 

This era has made me more proud to be a Celine Dion fan than ever before. She’s just a wonderful human being and I think more people are seeing that from the documentary. We’ve been through some very bumpy roads over the past several years but I think we are finally going to see Celine’s career and legacy grow much bigger in the coming months and years.

A friend of mine is suffering for life after a medical treatment, and that’s the only explanation that she got from the doctors

 

This girl never stopped, she never took a decent break

When she stopped was to take care of her family

 

In my opinion Linda Perry has captured that for the song MY LOVE so well

 

I just hope that Celine from now on she takes care of herself

Cause I love her so much, she deserves the best, she did a lot for the others

I did IVF. Thankfully only one round because I was fortunate enough to get my twins right away. But it’s grueling and you’re injecting absolute crap into you willingly. Long term effects of progesterone (which is the only muscular shot I think…the rest goes into fat) include increased long term chances of stroke, cardiovascular disease, increased cancer risk…. dementia... and much more.

I am sure IVF could affect things but if this started in 2008, she had only had one round to have RC. The really gruelling multiple rounds were for the twins in 2009 - 2010, so I doubt that would be the cause of her SPS even if it could have exasperated it.
