She looks and acts like her old self, despite SPS. Happy to see that, and that was one year ago! Last year she seven said that she is doing perfectly fine and is already running.

 

I don't believe that she is not ready to perform again. There must be something different behind the scenes that keeps her from the stage, most likely a contract issue.

I still can't get over the fact that she has not recorded or released "Freeze You Out". She sounded so good singing it at the Met Gala in 2017. This song suited her! Somehow I keep thinking that she has recorded (at least a demo of) that song . Why else would she burst out in that song suddenly? Maybe she wanted to spoil it but it ultimately wasn't released on Courage.

I'd like to replace "Freeze you out" with "Baby" haha as I really love the demo of Sia of the song. "Baby" as a bonus track on courage would be okay for me. It really is the only song I skip on courage since it's nothing special and way to repetitive for my taste

Yeah and in a lower key than the Sia demo version, for me that took much away from the drive of the song, so I like Sia's version way more and would've loved to have it recorded by Celine but oh well

I think Céline has a lot more autonomy (and responsibility for her team’s seemingly uninspired actions) than many would like to attribute to her. It was probably even more so the case back when René was in charge but I think Céline still is the one behind most ideas and certainly all decisions made regarding her career—which comes with its pros and cons.
