I really think it's good to discover new songs. But the show is lacking something. The first half looks pretty good. And then... The general public don't care about Les Blues, Je Crois Toi, Le Vol D'un Ange or Adieu. There's no way this show will remain the same for the Montreal and Quebec shows... About 90 000 tickets sold in Quebec for a population of 800 000? That's not only core fans... And her last show in Montreal was more than 8 years ago. The show needs these 2 hits: Je Sais Pas and On Ne Change Pas. People love to sing along. I'm sure the general public doesn't know half of the songs in the playlist. 2013 was better. I'm looking forward for changes hopefully for the Quebec shows.

 

She's been singing 35 years for the general public... it's our time now.

When she sings her old hits she always does on tour it's no good.

And now she sang songs she never ever performed live, you want her to sing hits?!

 

Maybe those "complainers" who don't know any song she did tonight, need to buy some more albums rather than just her greatest hits album.

The strings in JCT... :wub: It was such a good decision to bring the string section along on this tour. All the French songs needed that extra silky layer of strings to them!

Close shot of TSMGO... when the playback comes she goes either too early or the playback too late. And I hear two voice in the last note. Is it just me?

i was pretty surprised about the set list!!!

very different! love how Celine end EUS so good!!! cause if it ends just like the album version it's a bit too short, the extended part is really fitting and good!!

but have to say mmm some songs it's a bit out of place like TLBSEPT or LVDA but do love hearing them!!! maybe change the place of the songs

for the outfit mmm i like it! but it's kinda unlike Celine that there's no costume change... lol thought when they dim the light for MHWGO she would go change but no

well recycled clothes thats totally true,im really confused,the last photoshoot looks amazing and shes wearing chic , the bbms looking like a queen ,so they know whats chic is right?,and now that old fashion awful thing shes wearing really no comment , but im really happy with all the songs and the idea of singing songs she never sings uswally :)

I dont mind BYLM, IACBTMN, MHWGO those are iconic songs, but I definitely mind LCMM, RDMH... Thats not true casual fans still want them. Those can be so easily and beautifully changed over Declaration of Love, Unison, Im Alive, A New Day Has Come, Think Twice, even Taking Chances. There are soo so many more famous english songs especially in europe.

Here's a great video of Le Vol D'un Ange. I don't quite know what those light pole/candle things are but they are PERFECT in this song!!! And her voice just glides over the notesi n this song. Amazing choice #TeamCeline!!!

Those can be so easily and beautifully changed over Declaration of Love, Unison, Im Alive, A New Day Has Come, Think Twice, even Taking Chances. There are soo so many more famous english songs especially in europe.

 

As tired as I, too, am with "River Deep, Mountain High," it is hard to fully agree with you after seeing the audience's reception to the song during the live stream video of this new tour. The crowd was eating that song up! So, until the crowd stops jumping to their feed, singing along, smiling, clapping and dancing to it, I just don't see this song going away soon.

So, I just rewatched the entire acoustic segment. Maybe it has a different vibe in person, but judging by the videos I've seen, it's definitely the weakest part of the entire show. It needs reworking desperately, in my opinion. I don't want to see this portion of the show removed. However, it needs a lot of work.
