"That jazz thing" is basically the only reason I'm even considering going to Vegas. For reals. Well, that, and maybe Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Why do you guys think she didnt change costumes? Just interested as she usually does Just catching up with all the videos now ! She sounds amazing !!Honestly, who cares. She can wear a burlap sack for 2 hours and I won't mind one bit if she keeps giving us shows like the one last night! BTW, the RTL interview is on right now - http://www.rtl.fr/directPlenty of choice quotes from Steven Bellery here (won't paste them all b/c there are lots of tweets here!!)- https://twitter.com/StevenBellery The more I listen to these recent interviews, the more I'm blown away by how serene and reflective she is; this is a more thoughtful and grounded Celine than I think we've ever seen before. BTW, the RTL interview is on right now - http://www.rtl.fr/direct That's the point, its a vegas act. like keep it there, i think she's into the music setlist now, coz they did a good job, not like mego ( who aparently took control of this for all those years). one of the best in.. idk since the beginning i guess .. she felt free, no changes, no worries to go and quick change, you can tell by the moves, she kinda was like 90's.. hands in the shirt, clothes kinda mess, she's being herself. I love somewhere over the rainbow, but not for this, its vegas, vole is better. this kinda 1F4T old tour is so nice, i hope she keeps doing till the new cd. it felt intimate 1 Quote Please subscribe https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbdjLvrbSNwxQoeRsvZ5OWghttp://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0eWCf-j12uY/T-YMP5bDkpI/AAAAAAAACRg/rEnk4uy6aso/s400/Celine+Dion+-+Signature+Commercial+Behind+The+Scenes+(23612)+%5BHD%5D.mp4_snapshot_00.07_%5B2012.06.22_00.43.13%5D.jpg

scielle Posted June 21, 2016 at 07:37 AM Posted June 21, 2016 at 07:37 AM (edited) RTL interview is now here: http://www.rtl.fr/cu...s-la-7783757134 And another great one: http://www.europe1.f...-heures-2778061 Ce doit être son grand retour. En anglais, on dit toujours 'the best is yet to come' (le meilleur reste à venir). Edited June 21, 2016 at 07:41 AM by scielle 5 Quote

mirage Posted June 21, 2016 at 08:08 AM Posted June 21, 2016 at 08:08 AM Alright after having a sleep I can judge the show better haha. Still BEST show EVER! Loved the arrangements, the orchestra, celine not having a costumechange every 4 songs. Still think, she could have add 1/2 more songs from Sans Attendre and D'elles. It was a lot from 1F4T.Le Temps Qui Compte or Je Ne Suis Pas Celle could have worked great acoustic and with orchestra.Same goes for Attendre. That's the only "complaint" I have. As for the part from Purple Rain, it worked really well, for me it's always a sign the show is almost over haha, she had a lot of great uptempo english songs that could replace these ones. But I think we can't have it all in once haha Like she said herself: "The best is yet to come" I think they are almost there ;-) Curious to see what she will sing in Canada, think the medley will contain more from Incognito and Dion Chante Plamondon. 6 Quote

Javito Posted June 21, 2016 at 08:48 AM Posted June 21, 2016 at 08:48 AM the only person making critics about her too frequent wardrobe changes was you, i would refrain to give lessons about it. It is lecture to yourself. Maybe some people will have a deception about it, and it is totally their right. If someone wants to attend a fashion show instead of a music concert, they should better book tickets for Paris Fashion Week instead of Céline's concert. I wasn't giving any lesson, this just happened ONCE in a whole decade of career (maybe it's even the first time it happened in her career?) but the world keeps spinning around. Last night was a celebration of music, like she has never done in MANY years. Maybe it was a disappointment for some, but this was ONE night. You have a thousand and more nights of fashion Celine shows out there. My suggestion is that you'd better enjoy this while it lasts, before she goes back to the snooze fest of Vegas and covers and classic songs and yes, you'll get the crazy wardrobe changes too 4 Quote "Hush, now... I'll start by saying that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I really do not understand why people are nitpicking as much as they are. I could care less if she wore a trash bag and stood in the same place the entire time, the outfit and lack of changes is the least of my concerns. I'd take the longest setlist since millennium concert and no changes simply because it means more focus on music. Her music...and less medleys with barnev. No destin, oncp, jsp.....THANK GOD, hits or not they are over performed and tiring to hear. I'm ready for something new and that's what we got.. Honestly for the first time ever, they took chances with the setlist. To me what they did in the past years with a couple of songs is not at all taking chances. What they did with this entire set, the fact she sang probably 10-15 songs never sung before in this show - absolutely astounding. I'm amazed. Can't wait for tonight. 10 Quote

LV shows became more like an "artificial" Céline, everything looks forced and adjusted to please the general public, but last night everything was really authentic, that's the real Céline, she was "nude" on the stage simply in touch with the songs and the music. No need to wear any flamboyant expensive dresses on to grab the attention of the public. And btw, Céline herself confirmed that in this tour she's singing the songs SHE wants and that all are songs that she likes to sing.
