I cannot believe she sang Tous les blues sont écrits pour toi! If that doesn't make it in the setlist for Montreal, I will be heartbroken.

 

Like a few others have mentioned, I kind of hope that there is more from DCP for Canada, too. As much as I love that they suddenly discovered 1F4T (Ne bouge pas! ), it does feel a bit strange not to have more from SA (no PAMP?!) or D'elles. And I know everyone else is probably over it, but since Montreal will be my first francophone show, I selfishly would love to hear more from D'eux. Maybe just Regarde-moi, or perhaps Cherche encore or Destin in the acoustic medley?

 

Definitely impressed that they went for such unexpected songs. It shows that they're willing to branch out more than in the past. Can't wait for August!

Home from Celine in Antwerp. Quite a different show guys. Very different. I filmed and made quite some photos. This is a different approach. Most people i spoke with were very enthusiastic. I do not know yet what i think about the show. One thing i did see is that setting up a new show and please everybody is quite a thing to do.

yes that's what I thought, that the backvocals are pre-recorded.

That's why the don't sound as good during the acoustic medley.

I liked what I saw and like most of you, I was surprised to see many songs she's never performed live before and that she perfomed more than 20 songs. But where are the hits? Why "Immensité" and "Qui peut vivre sans amour"? Why not "Je sais pas" and "Tout l'or des hommes"? Having an orchestra onstage is the right tool to sing "Et s'il n'en restait qu'une". "Destin" has always added a lot of rhythm to the shows, I missed it on the setlist. It should replace "Love Can Move Mountains" (I know it will never happen).

 

Will the DVD (if ever there's one released) include the playback of IACBTM/TPOL? They should record another one...

 

Regarding the visuals, it seemed quite cheap and below average for an act like Celine. I mean, they could have used a better stage, better effects with the screens... in 2016 they can easily do creative things while touring.

 

In a nutshell, it was a nice surprise. Now let's see how the setlist grows on us.

I liked the show, most think it lacked some energy and some hits like "Et s'il n'en restait qu'une" I did not like the Naziland music, this show was very different looked like an acoustic or a show of Vegas in French. To me what I missed was the energy that his French concerts has, I hope it's only an impression of mine.

How the hell can people be complaining? This set list shows amazing progress. It's a MIRACLE that D'eux isn't the main theme. Praise the flying spaghetti monster.
