can i just say one thing that in a way it seems like the show was in a rush... Celine didn't speak much at all and just one song after another.... and sometimes u can hear in the middle of a big cheers / scream the song already started lol

 

Personally I think it's cos she's in Belgium and the kids are in Paris. My initial thought was no costume changes was that way she does the show and then gets back to the kids. I know it's not a long flight but even so....

We shall see if the show stays the same for the next belgian show, and especially the Paris ones!

This is why I don't like her to premiere songs live for the first time. She's in a time of her career where her voice tends to be better in the studio than live, whereas for all her career was the opposite (if the studio versions were good enough, she always surpassed herself when she performed them live).

 

I'm not saying that her voice is not good live, but it has changed and she certainly struggles more frequently with some songs when she never did (L'amour existe encore for example).

 

So I'm waiting for the studio version of Ordinaire. Maybe I'll like it more then

Yep, that song I'd always listen to. One of my favourites on the album.

 

Still hoping for maybe an early 80's french song for the Canada leg. One that we don't hear! Or (and no one shoot me because of this lol) a new 80's acoustic medley of songs. Not the usual DODA etc but C'est Pour Toi, Comment T'aimer or suchlike. ❤❤❤❤

 

And for cd dvd combination with ALL songs on it. So we still have both medleys 😂yep greedy of me!

She's come a long way since those awkward scripted spoken interludes of the 80s! (Well... maybe not so much in English, but baby steps.)

Interesting how she says she's not leaving the stage because she wants to take advantage of every second of the audience's energy. She really feeds off of this, doesn't she. Born for the stage. Good to see that she's finding it therapeutic to do this - bodes well for the future. She ain't going anywhere!

Me too, but it might be a grower for me. We'll see, I find it hard to listen to in the videos we have. Don't know why.

Oh she's stopping - just not when she has a plane to catch! (Guess air traffic control won't wait even for Celine, lol). Plenty of videos of her doing just that all of last week. She did a good ~10min of signing and selfie-taking upon arrival back in Paris after the show last night.
