I was watching videos on Instagram and in tears. And how she opened the show a Capella...omgggg. I would have been sobbing if I was there. I was in tears just watching on my phone--she sounds incredible; it's amazing what just a little time away from that Vegas heat does for her voice. (Of course she also sounds amazing in Vegas, but when you hear her here it just shows how much the heat really does to your vocal cords). Anyways she is so stunning and just a class act. Did anyone get tous les blues...on tape? Xoxoxo

Seriously. Who cares about wardrobe changes when she has given the BEST concert in years? In a DECADE I would say, even before 2003.

 

Has anyone stopped to think that maybe they had a problem with her suitcases or whatever? It's the first show, it's not that grave This detail just showed how down to Earth she is, and that she is first and foremost a singer. She's there to sing to us, not to show us the latest Armani creation.

I LOVED the show, and no costume changes loved that more!

More time on stage, more songs, no annoying musical interludes or backup singers singing a celine song.

Great setlist, we sure can't complain about that!!

But her outfit is pretty bad. And even if there's no costume change, she could do a 2-in-1 outfit and remove one piece to show something a little different. Seems to me that she decided to keep her new outfits for the hotel "runway"...

That rocker outfit she wore the other day while leaving her hotel (black leather jacket and black skinny jeans) would have looked great for Ordinaire...

I got the whole acoustic segment. 10 mins long. Sore shoulder but it was worth it

 

I do agree the acoustic set need some work (I think they could shorten the songs a bit), but so does the whole show. Setlist feels a bit out of balance, and sometimes I felt they rushed all the songs through to end in time. Maybe that's why they didn't do a costume change?

 

For example, Celine looked surprised when PQTME started. Naziland wasn't received that well, although I did like the song most of the people were sitting... And also a minor flaw in the ending of MHWGO (I believe it was) when a weird vocal-like sound came loudly over the speakers. There was hardly any time for "We want more" after TSMGO. And I felt Vole came a bit out of nowhere although it was an emotional ending.

 

But still it was amazing and I think it's a great start of a tour where she and the band can grow in more and more. I don't know who said it but it really felt like making up for not touring with 1F4T!

I wonder if maybe she'll just wear a different outfit for each concert? This way the fashionistas are happy but the concert can actually be a concert... I guess I do wish she would've changed for the encore just because I love seeing her in a stunning gown for MHWGO... but I'm definitely not complaining after all the gems we got out of this show!

I really think it's good to discover new songs. But the show is lacking something. The first half looks pretty good. And then... The general public don't care about Les Blues, Je Crois Toi, Le Vol D'un Ange or Adieu. There's no way this show will remain the same for the Montreal and Quebec shows... About 90 000 tickets sold in Quebec for a population of 800 000? That's not only core fans... And her last show in Montreal was more than 8 years ago. The show needs these 2 hits: Je Sais Pas and On Ne Change Pas. People love to sing along. I'm sure the general public doesn't know half of the songs in the playlist. 2013 was better. i'm far to be a fashionista, but i think that her improved fashion sense since about 2006 really helped her to modernize her image. She is seen as more hip now than before 2000. Si even if i won't complain , i think one or two changes can be tolerable. Her outfits in Paris were mostly great, very far west and old Hollywood mixed together, with a touch of rock ..
