Céline returns to Montreal and Quebec City for a limited engagement in July and August of 2016.

BREAKING NEWS:

Celine will be making a long-awaited return to Montreal and Quebec City for a special limited engagement of six performances beginning July 31, 2016!

For the first time in seven years, Celine will return to the Bell Centre in Montreal for four performances July 31, Aug. 1, 4 and 5 followed by two performances at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City on Aug. 20 and 21.

Tickets for all six dates will go on sale Friday, Nov. 13 at noon. Members of Team Celine (celinedion.com) will have access to a pre-sale beginning Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m.

I understand she can't travel too far because of how Rene is, but I feel bad for fans in Asia, as she should have waited for a time when she could return there first to do the cancelled shows and then done more of these special shows. And the fact that after the Paris shows its another French show is a bit unfair in my eyes.

Wooohooo! I haven't been in Montreal since the TCWT and I was planning to take a teaching course in QC this summer anyway.

 

I'm not getting my hopes up too high, as her cancelling the Asian tour is fresh in my mind. But I'll be going to QC anyway this time, so if Celine will be there, tant mieux!

Life isn't fair. Coming from someone whose mother was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, I can attest that cancer isn't a disease that does things based on what's best or convenient for others. Celine/Rene/The family are doing the best they can by staying active in the entertainment industry, but also being realistic about the circumstances going on with Rene. The fact she is still doing Vegas, still recording and still going to travel to Canada to do any shows at all is a blessing.

We know the Asia tour was meant to be promo for the LMBTL album. So when the next English album comes out I reckon the Asia tour will be back on.

The french album is coming out next so it was obvious that francophone countries etc will be first on their agenda.

But it was a shame it couldn't be rearranged. It'll happen though. 😆
