The crowd really loves BYLM.... they all shot out of their seats when it started. Kind of funny to see since her English audiences have the exact opposite reaction lol

 

No only us hardcore fans dont jump for joy..most concert goers love BYLM.

Hey guys! I just came back from Antwerp and had the privilege of staying at the same hotel as Celine's entire crew (musicians, technicians and Véronique) and had the chance of meeting most of them in person.

 

These are the SURPRISING things that Scott Price (musical director) told me when I approached him to say congratulations for such an amazing concert:

 

 

· All the songs from the Summer tour were picked by Céline herself.

 

· The orchestra has been rehearsing the song 'Breakaway' for the Vegas show. (He didn't tell me exactly when and if it's actually gonna make it to the show).

 

· Most of the musicians would love to play 'Didn't Know Love' at the show.

 

· When I asked him about why Celine keeps singing mostly covers in English, he told me it's her own decision. They keep insisting her to add some of her more obscure English material to the shows, but she doesn't seem to be very interested on doing that at the moment.

 

· And here comes the big thing: If you have any suggestions (songs you'd love Celine to sing live for example), PLEASE post your requests on Celine's official forum. They read it and love to get feedback from the fans.

Yes, yes, yes, please add Breakaway and DKL to the Vegas show. That's really interesting how all these songs are picked from Celine. Hopefully she'll suddenly rediscover some of the English gems that she doesn't perform as much and adds them to her English shows. Thanks for sharing this information!

It's simple. In her francophone career Celine has always been an artist. In her English career is just a power house singer. She needs to try to bring her French mentality to her English career and morph them to become one artist. Right now it's two different universes and honestly i prefer the French universe because its more then just about just a strong voice. More artistry, more emotion, more growth in her francophone career.

I agree..if black and white was the theme something more fitting would have looked better. It is too baggy and not flattering. It would rather have seen her singing the whole show in her open.arms dress. Or a black nice dress ( not the one with.the stars)

I am now going home and went to the first concert. Everything felt rushed and i really don't like it that alle speeches were done in French language. I did not understand a word of it.

I liked the setlist though. It was nice to hear songs she never did before.

lool thats what i said when i first saw the outfit, i said the yellow dress is marvelous compared to that thing lol
