I am still listening to the 3th track. We have mixed opinions about it. But let´s admit that this album is different. I like that some songs are just catchy, it does not have to be all-masterpieces. I like laid back Celine, singing not-so-vocally-demanding songs. I love her voice, whatever she sings.

I am having a good time listening to this album, and I do not even understand French.

 

I am happy. Hopefully the English album will be as exciting

I will post more details soon but this album is extraordinary. There are so many single materials that I'm just afraid they will not pick the right one.

 

Celine sounds FRESH, YOUNG and.... full of life. This is just extraordinary...

I'm only at MF so far and I love this song. The snippets didn't do any of these justice in my opinion. I'm sad I have to wait for the CD to arrive for the 3 extra deluxe version songs 😓

He explained many times in France that he had a small package of songs to Celine. He says he has already written everything he could for Celine. That's why he wasn't the only one who works on 1F4T. He didn't have the capacity to write an all new album just for Celine, he needed some help.

I think after the events of this year they reevaluated the album. Wiki says they recorded until June of this year. So I think they recorded some more songs, and replaced them. I do adore Encore Un Soir. It's a gem!

Well... I have listened to the entire album now, and it is truly one of her best. The songs flow right into each other beautifully. They're really amazing. The Zaho songs are some of my favorites already. Upbeat and amazing! I do agree that Les Yeux Au Ciel would be an amazing second single. It's great, honest, and has an amazing message! Je Nous Veux and Le Bonheur en Face, and well, Si C'était a Refaire are such classic Céline ballads. They are truly gems. I think this album was well thought out and organized, it truly is amazing. Yes, while I do pick some songs above others, I still think it's an amazing album. I want to pick 5 songs as my favorites! It's so hard! So I'll give it my best here!

I've only listened to the album once today though. I am sure that list will be changing, but after first run though, those are the songs that really hit me. This album is really good though, better then SA for me, and on par with D'elles and some of the other ones like SSDA and D'eux for me!

How can be Ma Force only a bonus track... it's so genuine, definitely one of the best tracks of the album. Some other songs seems to be two different songs mixed together, the chorus sometimes doesn't have nothing to do with the verses... still beautiful songs though. It misses a great powerful and emotional ballad.

Please, all fans in the US buy a digital copy from itunes! "Encore un soir" might have chances of becoming her first French-language album to debut on the Billboard 200! She needs some 2,500 copies. Remember that streaming is also factored into the tally.
