I'm not 100% sure who their source is as I haven't heard anything official but RH just announced a new French album will be out in 2016. If this is true....yay!!! Just thought I'd start this thread so as to not clog up other ones.

 

What are your thoughts? What type of album are you hoping for?

Now this was a news to wake me up so early in the morning! :wub: Already a great day, and today is a special day for me too!!! Cannot wait for a new quality French material. Lets just hope it won't take too long.

I think it is an old pic, she is wearing Rene' s jacket. Not this pic above, I am talking about the RH profile and cover pics, they may have heard a rumor so it was their way of hinting it! ...I hope!

Anyway I really hope this new album is true! It's been 3 years since Sans Attendre!

awesome, but its funny that we did not hear anything about her recording an album. Or maybe the recording sessions didn't start yet? Or probably the rumors that she recorded new songs in Boston are true and the video where she invites fans to be part of her intro video was filmed during the recording sessions for this new album

I would LOVE a new album, just like the rest of us! It would be so amazing, and we'll see if it turns out to be right. I wonder which direction she's going in? Like last one was lullaby-esque so I wonder! :)

That's what I say too. I want to believe them, but a little part of me also says... Wait we haven't heard anything from her team... And we've been let down by them before. So we'll see I suppose lol

Oh, it is 2010 all over again. A revamped show on the way and new albums are announced. Hope we don't have to wait till 2018 for an english album. :D

Doubt she'll include London. France yes, Europe maybe. I'll still dream of seeing her in London again though.

It has been a while since i have been this excited and hopeful for new stuff. I know it is not necessarily going to happen, but it would be nice not to have t wait 6 years for the next album.

I really, really hope this is true! :-D Then again, I don't want Celine to feel pressured to make an album with everything she has going on right now. If it helps her though and makes her feel good, then I'm all for it! :)

 

I wonder what sparked this rumor and where people got there sources?

Definitely more duets with younger people/groups - in French or English. More current singers. Ne-yo has taught me to hope now!

I must say- I love her French albums and they all do have something different to her English recordings- that said- I do wish she'd push the boat out and stop collaborating with these artists who had their time many decades ago- to try something fresh and different with a French album, different to having songs written by the likes of Jean Pierre Ferland etc- I love JNPBDA etc but something fresh and not so sleepy...
