I just listened to the album. There are 4-5 nice songs and that is all, for me. No big surprises, no songs with 10/10 score, from my side, no goosebumbs. I am not disappointed. I am not satisfied. Afterwards I listened to GEMS like PQTME, ONCP, J'attendais, SISDA, Cherche Encore, LAEN, EASP or LBDBM and I fell that the new songs and like grains of sands compared to Jupiter or Mars, if we compare them to the LP/JJG songs.

yeah most of all this album makes me feel like listening to her old albums :P

Why aren't they releasing the EUS video!!?? Many newspapers will write a review of the album (online) and would normally link the video of the first single... But no video yet! STRANGE. I guess it will be come out when the 2nd single is released!! :wacko:

I was thinking the same...I guess it has become a habit to release music videos way too late after the momentum!

The music video must come today surely!!! If not they have blown it again!

Finally got it to download. Si C'etait a refaire is a gem. Goosebumps. plus qu'ailleurs is classic Cabrel and beautiful. Ma faille is a good surprise. Les jeux au cel is just ok for me. Ordinaire is amazing. I didn't think i was going to like Tu Sauras but it is very catchy. I find myself singing it in my head. I loved routes yes choses. Can't say the same about le bonheur en face. i felt that was a filler. ALPHB is a masterpiece. overall super happy!

Never compare new Celine songs with songs on D'eux. You'll always be disapppointed.

IMO it depends on the songs one compares. I would take Tu Sauras over J'irai Ou Tu Iras anytime...

"A Vous"... I find this song so bizarre... a bit forced. I don't know if it's jazzy... or salsa... or house music... I'm thinking it should have never happened :s :s

 

 

"Ma Force": it's sort of a Miley Cyrus song. Cute but I can see why it's a bonus track.

 

I think I'll stick to the standard version.

There's any difference between the digital booklet that comes with itunes/amazon and the real booklet that comes with the physical album???

Anyone else noticed "Je Nous Veux" has a very similar melody to "En Amour" at the beginning?

 

I always have the need to switch to the latter! :P

Like most people I think I agree that it's not awful but also not great. Some of the songs are pretty good but others don't fit what I would personally look for from Celine and have been missing for the past few years. Her voice doesn't sound great on some of the tracks after production and editing which is weird because she has sounded great in the video footage from the recent concerts. I'll never complain about new Celine music and there are good songs here so I'll be happy overall

Don't understand a word but so touched by her voice and ,i dont cant get the people who are saying there is a lack of anything or saying any negative thing about the songs or her voice or anything ,this is the time that we really dont have to be sad about anything,she just lost the love of her life and still recorded an album that beautiful,so plz be positive ,we have so many beautiful albums so let us be just happy with the coming ones :) ,crying while listing to a la pluse h branche :(

Yes she's lost the love of her life and yet she's still making albums. She's strong even tough she should have retired and mourned for at least 10 years. But she's blessed us with an album we have no right to criticize even a slightest bit. We should be so grateful because something... anything... is always better than nothing.
