The past month, in no particular order:

• Celine purposely decides to speak to Vogue and the magazine is released in May with a big title 'The Grand Return of Celine Dion'.
  
• Celine takes part in the Canadian Olympics ad.
  
• TeamCeline enable SMHOF to be released and added to multiple Spotify playlists - the song is shaping up to be her biggest hit since 'Ashes'.
  
• The social media team deletes Instagram content and ensure a more professional theme.
  
• The trailer of the new documentary is released in late May and goes viral.
  
• The social media team updates profile photos.
  
• The first interview in 4 years is set to be broadcast in June.
  
• The documentary and an accompanying album are to be released in late June - both summarising her career and reflecting her SPS struggle.
  

Things are moving for the first time in 4 years! There's an identity-shift, a re-introduction! That's one of the documentary's aims - to perfectly set the ground for her comeback.

by the way, i've been listening to her studio version of "ordinaire" recently and it feels like it sums up this latest chapter in her life captured by the documentary. maybe Aline was onto something by choosing that as the closing song. the lyrics are quite poignant - i'm so into it right now!

that's how i feel. i think they've been gearing up for her "return to public life" and this documentary era. i still don't expect a return to a resorts world residency or touring, but given recent events i'm very hopeful that her health might permit her to go in the studio or do one-off performances here and there (probably in controlled environments).

Only now I got to see the trailer and the Vogue interview and… wow! I’m not a crier but to read that interview after the end of that trailer was hard to hold the tears! And I must say, I loved this part:

 

“I wasn’t looking for someone who would dramatize my life or reinvent what I was going through. Or someone who would always be saying, ‘Can we ask you that? Can we go there?’ When I met Irene, I knew right away that she was the person.” It looks like I was wrong, Celine will go deep in this doc.

 

And it might just be me with my expectations, but the fact they chose to focus this trailer exactly on Celine desperation to go back to the stage is telling. If I had to guess, feels like something is indeed cooking up.

This is one of the songs I have in my mind since the release of the compilation album was announced.

 

There are so many career-specific songs they could have drawn from:

My gut is telling me a French album will be the first thing she'll do. Realistically, it is easier to record an album than commit to a residency or tour. We'll see!

She did it performing through pain multiple times over the years. She always did it.

The fact she’s able to acknowledge this tells me that, as some have previously pointed out in this thread and elsewhere, she has done a lot of work these past few years not just on her physical health but also her mental wellbeing. And that can only be a good thing.

I agree 100%. Emotional and mental wellbeing can help so much with dealing with autoimmune diseases. With anythnig really. The opposite is also true - often autoimmune issues are rooted in mental health problems like anxiety and depression. And in turn, further exacerbrate them. It is a bidirectional relationship.
