Also she’s able to have treatments and meds that she has now only because of being diagnosed. The fact that Celine said they estimate she’s had symptoms for 17 years is crazy. First of all, I am going to ask you to be mindful of the way you are expressing yourself when talking to me or about things I have said. Next time I read words like 'BS' in reference to my posts I will click the report button. Second, I used the word ''allegedly''. Because nor me, nor you have actual proof over what the case is. Third, the entire persona/career of Celine was extremely sugarcoated when Rene was alive. Now that is a fact. And in his capacity as her manager it would only make sense for him to be in control of this documentary or the questions Celine is asked during interviews. Again, I have no proof for what I am saying but only after Rene's death did Celine re-invent her set-lists, performed sensual dances on stage, persistently wore super sexy or even outrageous outfits, promoted a genderless clothing line, swore in an English record, posed as a warrior queen in the photoshoot of said English record, appeared without make-up in a music video, made several public appearances with a gay bestie. How many times have we seen Celine on nights out with friends before? To me, these are indicative of what I am saying. However, I respect that you and others share a different opinion. To each their own.

 

I will say the same to you. If you read what I said the BS was to all that feel Rene told her what to say not to you specifically. And if you want to report me for that then go ahead. I know it is your opinion and if you read what I said I very much said it was my opinion as well. It was me disagreeing with your perception.

 

She did a very sexy photoshoot in 2012 that Rene was at, also her interview with Access Hollywood when talked about way industry was changing and how young artists were being sexualized. So, I stand by that I feel all of this was already starting to happen but got put on hold when Rene got sick. I believe we would have seen much the same if he had been alive. Maybe not the hanging out with the gay best friend because she would have still had a husband.

 

Also seeing her out and about is not just because he is gone but her kids being older and not needing her all the time. And during the 90s or even the 2000s there was not the same social media presence to document the same way to know how much she went out or not. Add in the fact RC also did not like to go out and share his parents, as she said in an interview. So, for me all of this contributed to the changes. Not because Rene was gone she was able to say things couldn’t before.

 

All of this is me disagreeing with you which I thought I was very clear in my first post. Both of us are just speculating and probably will never know for sure. And I am sure even after his death what we saw and got was very much controlled. For me personally the world changed and became more accepting of her and all her quirks and that allowed her to be more expressive, not because Rene was no longer there to control the narrative. At this point we can only agree to disagree.

Well I am not going to apologize for what I feel and for me it was meant to all of those that have said it or implied that Rene was in total control. It is your choice to believe it was only aimed at you and that I am trying to gaslight you.

 

Me bringing up things that happened prior to Rene’s death is not saying what came after did not happen. I am in no way deflecting how she did these things at all. To me you make it seem like she never did anything before 2016 that was outside of this controlled narrative, and I am pointing out she did in my opinion. Am I not allowed to give examples to support my opinion just as you are doing?

 

And yes for me her giving an opinion during the Access Hollywood interview was something we did not usually see. My examples are to support my opinion that the change was beginning while Rene was alive. Thus, showing he did not control the narrative so much she could not do any of what she did in 2016 and after, before Rene passed. Is that not what one does during a debate, give examples to support their point of view?

 

Her doing these things persistently does go back to the fact her kids were older and she did not have to be home taking care of them same way she had to when they were younger and also fact her husband had passed so the time, they would have spent together was now time she would not have had before. Both in my opinion gave her more free time than she had before to do all of these things you point out that she was not doing prior to 2016.

 

We can agree she did those things after 2016 I am not delusional, but for me where we disagree is on the motivation behind them and that I feel you are implying she would not have been able to do them when Rene was alive. If this supposition is wrong, then for that I do apologize.

I was just spitballing with that, bc I don't think it was definitively a restaurant. But she was waving and blowing a kiss as she was exiting someplace at 1:44-1:45 in the trailer.

 

For as long as Irene was shadowing Celine, I reckon they must've gone to a variety of places - and without fans/paparazzi getting much wind of it. Naturally, there may have been Celine's mobility issues and COVID to consider.

 

I don't think it was a restaurant. It was at the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, the association of Henderson, Nevada residents, of which she is probably a member as she lives there.

I have no clue about this as I have barely watched any celebrity documentaries. I generally dislike them because they seem staged and forced. I even disliked aspects of 'Celine: Through the eyes of the world' and '3 boys and a new show' but that's just me. Point is I do not know how promotion works. I can only apply some thinking relating to album releases. If she were to release an album in June good news would be it'd have less competition, therefore it would stand out more easily and achieve good peak posititions. Maybe the same applies to this documentary?

 

Another possible reason could be her well-being. Maybe she was at a stage back in September that she was not feeling comfortable to support this project through interviews and wanted to be more restful. It could also be that they wanted it to be over a year since the SPS announcement. Maybe anything less than that would come off as being 'too soon'.

 

Another thing I can think of it that they have lined up specific projects to follow. Maybe a French album after the Olympics? That feels farfetched though. I cannot recall any piece of evidence of such meticulous planning.
