Chills throughout … seems like this was greatly done! When “im alive” came on, then stopped with the 9-11 call. I was not expecting that at all. Cannot wait for this to come out.

OMG!!! The trailer is amazing.

these things stand out:

 

- the 911 call for Celine (someone spoke to Celine: Celine,Celine!, like she collapsed)

- the FIY Tour videos, Sony, please release a DVD!!!

The part where she is singing in the studio (01:48), it's her recording Love Again if you zoom in on the lyric sheet.

 

Other observations:

 

- the part where she's talking about the shoes, is that the warehouse she talked about before that she had built for her shoe collection, in the background you see numbered boxes. But what's inside them don't look like shoes. There are lots of wardrobe though, so could it be at the wardrobe department at RW?

 

 

I feel it is her warehouse or one of them that houses everything, clothes, gifts, shoes from her whole career. She has said before she does not throw anything away. Even the flowers that were given to her family when her dad died she saved then had made into rosary beads.

I wish she wasn't going through all of this, I wish we wouldn't need to watch her under such circumstances, I wish we could turn back time.

 

but it's so good to see and hear her back. Seeing her fooling around at the events has been nice but hearing her speak and sharing her life with us once again is soooo precious, so personal, so raw....

Also, that Vogue article is probably one of the best and most open interviews with her ever. This in particular struck me: “I don’t have a lot of friends. Now, I consider Irene a friend. Because she understood.”

The 911 call is interesting. If she got to the point where something happened and someone said her name in a concerned way before calling 911, what are the chances they were filming?

 

All 911 calls are recorded by law. So whatever happened, there’ll be audio available.

Yes! This Vogue interview was excellent, really insightful. This is why I posted it in the News Thread - everyone should read it!

 

Celine is coming off as very mature, very reflective, very comfortable in being her true self. It is almost as if this is the beginning of new era. Have not been that excited in years.

We have to remember besides the dramatic editing, some of this footage is a couple years old. Celine today is doing better, but we just don’t know “how much” better yet. So I’m hopeful she’ll be back, the question is when.

Omfg I love the trailer! Just from an audio perspective it’s very emotional and powerful. I feel like we rarely get raw moments like that trailer, we usually only see the Celine that is keeping it together. The only other two times I can remember where she truly broke down was all by myself and her return concert after Renee died, and another Larry King interview, I want to say 2005? That part was powerful because they panned to the 13 year old Celine walking on the stage. Almost as if current Celine was watching her memories in front of her as she was captioning it. This trailer was so well done.

I’m actually surprised not one mention or video footage of Rene. That alone already says that Irene may go a different route in telling her story. I’m sure there will be plenty of footage of their marriage etc but surprised nothing in that trailer.!

Yes, I felt the same way. It's as if there are two versions of her: one being the entertainer, the goddess Celine Dion, and the other being Celine, the normal mom and human being. When she says "She," she's referring to the entertainer that she is to her fans.
