The creative Emmy’s were last weekend and no she didn’t win.

Oh, my bad, I didnt knew that. Well, not expected to win, but I was hoping. It s a really good documentary. But, hey, she won the heart of millions so I think that s the greatest award 🫶🏻

Bit late.... but for Belgian (Flemish) fans, the documentary part 1 is aired tonight 22:00 on VRT (België 1) and part 2 is Monday 21:45.

Interesting that it's being aired on public broadcasting! I wonder if this will do anything for her streams/sales in Belgium the coming weeks.

I suppose more people may listen to her after watching the documentary. My fear is that most have already seen it. Although I know some people don't have Amazon Prime

As if everyone who watches TV in Belgium has seen it...

"People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."

Has anyone who had already seen this documentary around when it first came out rewatched it in the last 6 months? I'm curious.

I'm really glad we have this documentary, but as time has gone by, my opinion of it has faded a little bit. I must admit.

It’s not that my opinion has faded but rather I personally never rewatched it again… it’s not meant to be a bright and enjoyable film it’s not the career retrospective that was originally intended…. I find no entertainment personally watching Celine cry, spasm and mourn in a way her career. The first watch was needed to better understand her journey but if I rewatch anything for me it needs to be “entertaining” this isn’t.

Agreed, the only time I rewatched it was when I was showing it to my friend’s mom.

I have watched it 3 times, I think. And rewatched some individual scenes too. I really like it - captured the SPS battle to a good extent, both the physical but also emotional aspects. It also came at a time where it was very much needed because we had barely seen Celine in 4 years by that time. Both the release of this documentary that reached #1 in like 38 countries and the universally acclaimed Olympics performance shortly after hold a special place in my heart. It was like experiencing Celine fandom in a collective manner, so many people cared. It was lovely to see.

I watched it two times, first time with my boyfriend and then with my sister again. I'm really glad that we have this documentary to understand what was and is going on in her life a little bit better but it's not entertaining since it's a very serious topic and seeing her struggle and cry hurts, so no need to watch it over and over again

I'm not looking through 156 pages. Has anyone wondered why Céline had so freaking much pasta in the cabinet? Like if it had been Maman Dion planning to feed all the descendants, okay. Otherwise whyyyy? 🤣

Probably because it was the pandemic and everybody was storing and hoarding food and toilet paper, so was Celine :D

Because if we see Celine only, I guess there was a bunch of people to have for meal everyday : her family, the technicians, camera people and so on
