Yeah ... interesting though that she says in that same clip "I'm spasming ... someday I'm gonna flip." Not sure what she means but a lot of the vocal issues she describes -- spasming, not being able to finish a sentence, difficulty breathing, tension -- are consistent with some kind of laryngospasm which may have effected her previously in the past. Whether stress is the trigger or something else (could even be caused by acid reflux), who knows ..

Here is the section of the video where she is visiting the doctor during the tour and says these things. The main quote about spasming is at about 3:10 in.

 

 

Not sure if any of this points to SPS or just working too much.

Nothing new here though? Looks like just the TMZ acknowledgment of the upcoming doc from a few days ago, and reference to the Vermilion employees I had posted snippets from in the doc thread.

 

(And by the way, the Vermilion Head of Production has removed that reference to a 2024 release since I posted the snippet of her LinkedIn the other day…)

I’m confident the residency will happen in the spring. Mainly because I’m expecting twins in the spring and that’s just the way the world works for me…the thing I’ve most been looking forward to will be something I absolutely cannot attend. 😂

I believe that if she is to return she will record a French album because it has been 7 years+ since Encore Un Soir. I also think any residency/tour will involve limited shows.

She’s definitely testing the waters again and wanting to be seen… you don’t just disappear (understandably so) to deal with an illness and then have 2 high profile outings in the same week. I think she may be testing the waters and also a great sign if she’s able to handle the lighting and loud music which is said to be huge triggers for many with SPS…

 

 

She looks amazing, so happy to see her again!

Surreal to see Celine inside the Resorts World Theatre after everything that’s happened over the past couple of years in her life. And this was where her show was supposed to take place in 2021.

 

So exciting to see her out in the world.

She’s re-emerged!! Crazy to think she’s watching Katy Perry’s last residency show on November 4th, 2023 when Celine was supposed to open the same theater with her show on November 5th, 2021!

 

I do think Celine wants to give that Vegas show if she’s able to… she’s clearly checking out the digs lol… there’s on video on X that Celine is looking around the ceiling and surroundings of the theater, I can’t help but think she’s looking at their work since she had a hand in the design apparently.

Am I one of the few, if not the only one lol, who hopes she never does another LV residency again (if she does decide to perform again)? In fact, leave the place and homebase elsewhere. And try to innovate a different touring model instead that's less taxing and less work-focused. She's done and conquered LV many times over; she's amassed more than enough $$; I feel there's nothing new to accomplish there, seeking other avenues/challenges would be a nice new phase to consider.

Gonna start saving up just in case because IF she returns, I will be there for sure.

I hope they remember that they promised first dibs to ticket holders of the 2021 residency though.

The biggest issue most of us have struggled with in recent months is the total radio silence and so everything we think we know is not based in evidence. She and her team have done a pretty incredible job of protecting her, there have literally been no credible leaks of information (other than her sister saying very non-committal things).

 

To go from that, to seeing her twice in public this week - for the first time in almost four years, at events and doing things that almost certainly make worse the symptoms of any sufferer of SPS - has totally blown us all away.

 

It's more than I could've hoped for - I choose to interpret her sudden re-emergence in a positive way, she looks well and she looks happy and healthy and I remain hopeful that in the not too distant future, she will re-emerge properly and lead a public-private life again. We expect a documentary in 2024 - I hope she is able to promote this. As to whether she'll be able to perform, if she can, that would be extraordinary and a new French album would be simply stunning. It's really hard not to be excited by the prospects of a new French album - her first since the magnificent Encore un soir.
