To me, the whole aura and vibe around Resorts World still doesn't feel right. I wish she'd cancel her obligations there too.

 

But I assume with her illness that a Vegas residency is the only realistic path for her to perform going forward, so Resorts World it is I guess...

This pretty much confirms JK’s prediction we’re based on her existing CWT dates and holes in the schedule. So no real intel.

True, but to me it'd also be weird if she were to return to Caesars Palace...especially now that Adele has moved in. Others may feel differently.

CP is a Live Nation venue now, so it’s not really an option. Fairly sure Céline is still exclusive with AEG.

Oh yeah, I always forget that. Celine in her May 2021 interview was like "my team convinced me this was the best new thing!" -- nary a mention of the business/legal side of it. Unless this change happened after she was already done with Caesars?

I don’t think Celine “dumped” Caesar’s…. I think AEG left Caesars which makes it impossible for Celine to do a residency at a venue that isn’t under the AEG umbrella. So I think AEG essentially made the choice for her by switching venues. If she wants to LV residency it’s there or nowhere, unless AEG still runs the PH theatre?

Based on the link I posted below seems Caesar’s might also manage Zappos at PH. If that is the case then changes are they also use Live Nation there as well.

Seems they ditched AEG as they wanted to control their own venue which AEG previously managed.

I watched this Oprah special with Tina and Cher in the Caesars Palace. Tina was so great. Does anyone know, if they met there? I mean, it was Celine's theater and she performed RDMH there.

The tour was never going to resume but $$$ they had to do it in clumps. I think later this year (before Christmas ) we’ll get a Vegas announcement for shows in mid -2024

If Celine ever returns, and I hope and pray she does, I think it would mean she would be responding to daily life with strides, including random noises and lights. If those things even remotely cause distress to her SPS, I would assume it’s safe to say she WON’T return.

 

Celine is smart enough to only come back if she’s able and…

A) doesn’t jeopardize her health any further &

B.) shes able to vocally deliver to her standards

 

I could be a wrong but I don’t think Celine would ever be the type to push through and not be top shape and ride the “sympathy” wave during live performances.

Keep some faith and positivity!

 

Even if Celine doesn’t regularly perform again, I hope she’s able to keep her symptoms under control and lead a happy life… with the help of her team and new research / treatments.

 

And also record new music and hopefully make big appearances from time to time if it brings her joy. She knows she is very missed… as one of our living icons.

 

While her big days of performing might be done, there’s still more to come in her career.
