New Las Vegas residency show!

I wonder if the new residency never sees light of day, if Celine has the rehearsals filmed, as far we know she took part in some dress rehearsals right? If so it would be nice to see one day but I’m hoping eventually she will get to get back to doing this show! Fingers crossed.

I believe she will do the rest of the tour if she can and then the next project will be this show...

I really hope for Celine's recovery and the resumption of the tour, and I think dance numbers will be excluded - Your the voice and dance medley, LCMM maybe.

We’ll see Celine in the Barbra style and hear more of her power ballads…

Her return to Vegas was announced (well teased) 2 years ago... The future looked much brighter then.

well I ended up going anyway , just the check things out , it wasn't even ready , No Merch Nothing , they were still working on it from the inside , , but I will say I sure do MISS going to Vegas and seeing all the Fans / Groups , and even would meet New Friends ,

But No sure I'll be going back , So Disappointed

Although the advert at the time looked incredible… for a new residency at a new hotel, at the time she didn’t have the right team, experience and drive that she did before and that was all down to Rene who always got the deal done and sat in on rehearsals.

 

I think she and her team were secretly panicking without him ahead of these dates with no real direction and nothing fresh and that caused her to stress, worry etc… but that was then and this is now and we have all been through a lot… so, is the best now to come?

I suspect if Vegas is not forward or the tour she’ll be MIA. Or are they waiting to announce new Vegas dates when the movie drops on May 5 ?? It’s kind of perfect promo. I’m certainly not holding my breath. I’ve got mixed feelings about what’s to come. And frankly I’m a bit worried.

Honestly, I'm not incredibly optimistic about Celine returning for the movie, or the tour, or Vegas but I pray to God I'm wrong about the tour and Vegas. I think the movie may be a bit of a stretch. We have no idea how her healing and treatment are going. No matter what, we're due for an update here soon. The best thing I can say at the moment, while incredibly nervous at the prospect of more postponements or outright cancelations, is this: Prepare for the worst but hope for the best.

Her illness is not a cold. Obtain a clinical remission (which is only a hope) - as well as complete repair of the immune system following stem cell transplantation - it requires long months, maybe years. Even if she succeeds, the possibility of performing on stage remains in question.

I believe that one day, she will succeed in reinventing herself, but it will be a challenge, let's not hide it: this disease is quite unpredictable and business requires planning.

I think we should show her our support with patience and resilience.

Or is this just his conjecture based on her existing (not yet canceled... ) tour schedule and the known booked dates at RW by other performers? Because that's kinda what it reads like to me. It doesn't sound like he has any actual intel. Seem this is premised on known schedules & availabilities, and not taking into consideration any actual updates to the state of her health.

Not even phone ones. This shows the severity. Celine is most likely to retire and live quietly. The fact we’ve had no update since December shows this is serious. It’s not a quick fix.
