I think it´s hilarious how Adele just walks back and forth on that stage with no shoes on and mostly only fancy videos are being played. And that´s the show. Compare that with the effort Celine put into her shows, especially for AND; the dancing, the quick outfit changes, all the time pressure and coordination with the dancers. New era. Honestly I wish Celine was more laid back. I never went for outfit changes. This is not meant to be a dis. That's just the way Celine ticks and I love her regardless.

Yes indeed, I find it hilarious that some think that she can come close to Celine.

 

As for her words, it's always nice to hear how much inspiration Celine gives to other artists.

I prefer these kind of news over the evil gossip ones. I'm sure Celine sent her message for that.

I think the Adele at the Vegas legends show sounds more like Adele than Adele currently does and is way cheaper!

She definitely got a ton of inspiration from Celine.

Grateful she gave Celine some respect in the first show.

And that so many articles referenced Celine as the woman who pioneered modern day Vegas residencies - and that the colosseum was built for her.

 

It would have been a bummer if Celine wasn’t getting the credit she deserves.

 

I look forward to Celine reclaiming her place on the strip down the road - and I hope it’s with a fabulous show.

Or she just doesn’t want to spend any of her time and energy on the circus that is social media. Lord knows, I don’t, and I’m not a public person going through health challenges. If I were, I’d certainly stay away, too. Why can’t it be that simple? Why do we need to concoct convoluted scenarios? Maybe she just can’t be bothered with the toxicity that comes with it. Understandable and probably for the better, certainly from a mental health perspective.

 

Yes, but ... she can communicate with fans in a lot of different ways. The issue fir me is not how she's using social media, but rather how she seems to have decided to completely shut down ant communication with fans beyond the bate minimum (announcements of cancelations).

It’s friggin December tomorrow so no shows in January I guess. I still think IF she is coming back to touring next year her launch at resorts world will be in late April

And the only announcement for the new movie was one tweet by Team Celine. They could tease a little more and create more hype. Looks like there will be absolutely no news about anything before next year.

I really hope she doesn’t return to Vegas until after the tour is over. I also hope when she does return to Vegas, she does like Adele and only performs two nights per week. Maybe three at most. But she needs a much calmer schedule so she can prioritize her health. She’s already proven herself as a work horse. 5 nights per week during A New Day… was insane.

 

If she does move forward with touring, I hope she has a health team traveling with her… and she takes excellent care of herself along the way.

Well the key point to me is not that but “She is still reportedly not ready to announce return dates or rehearse for her shows in Las Vegas, or on tour.”

 

Also, article notes a May residency would be fitting as it would fall at the same time as the movie launch. Um… not so fitting if it means she can’t participate in the film’s promo tour!
