I'm very curious about the new JJG album. To be honest, I suspect the vocals on Céline's track will be old. In which case, we better start considering thr possibility that her voice may be the actual problem. It would explain the total silence. They're not about to send a message into the world saying "Céline is not sure she can still sing anymore"...and it's something she probably wouldn't share with Claudette either.

Would be good if she posted a Halloween pic of and her sons. Just a moment that we can see she is okay. She has never been this quiet. I think everything that happened, the passing of Rene and her mum plus doing a big tour right after Vegas took toll on her. Maybe she is completely exhausted, tired plus the grief is too much for her. And then the muscle spams . plus the enormous stress it takes on her to do all these shows in Europe and a new show in Vegas.. I wonder when she will be back on stage Or maybe she does not want to perform anymore..

She said previously she did the grieving during the time she took time off to care for him and he’s been dead 6 years so it’s not that.

 

I think her mums death has taken its toll as she was busy with the tour but look at all the nature and relaxing pics in Canada during Covid. She’s had more time than most to process that and relax and unwind.

 

As some have said I think as the only person to wear heels during the A new day residency on that rigged stage night after night and too much yoga finally took it’s toll on her legs and feet.

 

If she’s rehearsing in Vegas right now someone will see her… nothing stays quiet in that town when it comes to show bizz!

I just hope and pray that her 'inner circle'' keep her grounded this time.

 

Her pepe era was a disaster.

 

I remember very vividly being at work around the time flying on my own was bein launched and she was the new L'Oreal spokesperson. I remember a bunch of women at the water cooler saying "If you wanna look like an old hag buy L'Oreal." and co-workers, knowing I was a fan asking me if she was in her 70's. Honest to God. I felt so embarrassed for her. And then family emailing when when Deborah Roberts interviewed her on GMA saying "OMG What has she done to herself"

 

IF she comes back I hope the fake cancer-liver disease jaundice look is gone and she Is 15 pounds heavier. For the love of God.

I disagree with that. First because I don't think is a nice or even healthy thing to judge someone's body. People weight can varie for several reasons. A lot times the pressure from those kinds of comments are worse for someone's health then the weight itself. And it's specially harder for women.

 

Her "time with Pepe" was actually the first time in a long time Celine looked like her free self in public. She always looked a little too "conservative wife", you know? But we, fans, saw her in documentaries and interviews where she felt comfortable, and she was always goofy, funny, kinda awkward sometimes, a little bit dramatic also. And she embraced that through that fase. It was the firts time she was choosing things for herself and not having a man doing for her. That's liberating. And of course she opened herself to mistakes, but at least was her choice. That makes it special.

I'm intrigued by Katy's first 6-show run in April. I wonder why that decision was made. It does leave the perfect amount of time for rehearsals and an April 28 or May 5 premiere.
