You seem to be having a hard time understanding the perspective of fans (customers) who purchased tickets over 3 years ago for outstanding shows that were supposed to be delivered over two years ago. Given the increasing economic hardships people are facing and after several postponements, I think it's totally justified for ticketholders to start losing patience. Also, the "demanding attitude" is in no way a cause for the lack of updates.

Nopes I dont you dont thinl I miss seeing her on stage and looking at performances, i also have purchasex tickets three years agoo.. O have total understanding for people loosing patience, but what irritates and bothers me from some people on this forum is that they have no regarxs for her wishes or needs they just think of their ownn.. and treat and talk about her as she is a machine that goes on and does whatever they feel she needs, not looking at their own lives and seeing how they would deal with their own demons .. cause god forbid if their dealing eith health issues that anyone would forse them to do anything... so i understand perfectly but instead of bashing her team or her they whole time try to stay posotive instead of threathning to loose interest or go see other artist .. thats my point opinions i always respect but some here dont give opinions

I notice they once again removed her photo from the RW website with the "dates to be announced" blurb below it.

 

It's funny - I read through all of the comments people have been leaving over the past couple of months and I feel as though I'm such a mixed bag of everyone's feelings. I was very hopeful for a return later this year or January. I think RW was as well. I'm sad, I'm mad, I'm frustrated...I definitely don't think things are being handled properly at all. The silence is concerning to me personally. Does she HAVE to say anything, nope - but...I really am starting to feel in my gut that the Courage Tour won't even go on. I would love to be wrong. I miss her and worry about her mental and physical health so very much.

I understand all those feelings i wish we had a year filled eith only great projects and lotsa concert footage and such.. lets try to stay positive that 2023 will be a much better year

Personally I would say just skip Vegas and focus on the tour. Instead of preparing 2 shows in a short time. After 2 years doing not so much. As far as we know of course.

I agree that she should just focus on the tour and promoting her new movie (& hopefully some new music that comes with it).

And then return to Vegas down the road with a beautiful new show when she has nothing else on her plate.

Not to beat a dead horse but I just bought a limited edition blu ray of an indie Korean movie that only got 1000 copies released for collectors (totally sold out) and it made me remember how TC doesn't release any concert footage for Celine because supposedly people don't buy DVDs/Blurays anymore 🙄

 

Not even a release of her second most successful Vegas residency.

But she would to lip it most certainly because it's quite a hard song to sing, lots of belts and difficult notes throughout the refrains and the bridge. The verses would sound great live because she has a fuller, deeper voice which fits perfectly. I don't have an issue at all with Celine taking all the time she needs to heal or just because she wants to. The problem seems to be the absolute silence from her at all. It would be nice to have an update once in a while or a 30 second video of her at home, maybe even pictures of her and the children out shopping, doing normal things. The silence is the killer.

A very diplomatic response from Marc. Reassuring though. Of course it would make sense that Anne-Marie is still in contact with Celine. Pretty sure if something was seriously wrong like some people here keep posting, she would probably have mentioned it to her husband!

I assume Celine has taken this prolonged break, initially due to the pandemic, because of multiple things:

Her health, her grief, and the business side of her career got very wonky / complicated.

I hope she is realigning and getting it all together... and she will come back more centered and stronger than ever.

My guess is she's been silent because she really needed the silence.

And I think she's at peace with her "image" being silent too.

I think what brendanm999 was alluding to was that Katy might take her usual 3 week block and that falls February 15 through March 4. David Blane returns to the theatre the following weekend March 10 & 11.
