She said previously she did the grieving during the time she took time off to care for him and hes been dead 6 years so its not that.

 

I think her mums death has taken its toll as she was busy with the tour but look at all the nature and relaxing pics in Canada during Covid. Shes had more time than most to process that and relax and unwind.

 

As some have said I think as the only person to wear heels during the A new day residency on that rigged stage night after night and too much yoga finally took its toll on her legs and feet.

 

If shes rehearsing in Vegas right now someone will see her nothing stays quiet in that town when it comes to show bizz!

Stop deciding for people what time is the right amount.. not up to anyone to decide when its time or not she lost her everything her rock her support her business manager and husband.. thats a lot from 12 years old she depended on him.. not saying thats it but she didnt properly grief after he died you dont grief while someone is alive same thing happened to my mom when my dad passed away she was exhausted of taking care of him and constantly being in emotional state as he was aick for years so maybe she is still dealing with it all

Could be a possibility she is rehearsing at home and she started eith the vocals and soo there is also a chance that this will have an effect in her show that she will be less moving or doing high kicks and more standing singing who knows time will tell

I'm intrigued by Katy's first 6-show run in April. I wonder why that decision was made. It does leave the perfect amount of time for rehearsals and an April 28 or May 5 premiere.

I agree. When she does come back we clearly have to expect less. The idea of cramming in shows where there is a slight gap seems unrealistic. It seems inevitable that she will need more time to herself and more rest if this isn't going to happen again. Her health has to be the priority.

Well, it’s never too late for a comeback. Nobody thought Joni would perform again. She suffered a brain aneurysm and nearly died, then had to relearn everything - from walking, to playing guitar. And yet here she is, against all odds, set to play her first show in decades next summer. (If only it weren’t absolutely impossible to get tickets… 😔)

 

With this in mind, surely Céline can kick the butt of some muscle spasms?

November now ; any delusional folks still think January is on the table ? At this point I would suspect the tour is being scrapped and an announcement coming in January. I guess November and December will be dark months and she’ll perhaps record a video indicating she’s unable to return for the forsesble future. Maybe after Christmas the official

Communication on cancellations will be announced.

I'm very curious about the new JJG album. To be honest, I suspect the vocals on Céline's track will be old. In which case, we better start considering thr possibility that her voice may be the actual problem. It would explain the total silence. They're not about to send a message into the world saying "Céline is not sure she can still sing anymore"...and it's something she probably wouldn't share with Claudette either.

 

Yea that is what I am fearing as well. This long term never-ending silence from her team is NOT a good sign. Besides the cancellation/postponement announcements from earlier this year, & the posts of tour merchandise selling & the numerous 'Obituaries of the Stars' posts, Celines social media has been SO UNUSUALLY & VERY SCARILY QUIET, & even by Team Celines normal standards lol!

 

Even though it is VERY SCARY to think about this possibility, as a long-time fan I do not like to admit to even have to consider this as well... But soon if things do not change & the remaining "Courage World Tour" European dates do end up getting cancelled (as I would REALLY DOUBT they would postpone show dates for that tour anymore at this point if her health does not improve, just like what happened to the North American show dates after so many postponements, & yes it still CAN HAPPEN to the European dates if she is not feeling better, the dates are still a few months away & Celine has been known in the past to cancel shows at the last minute... Remember this time last year we were all so excited for the North American shows to happen, then in January 2022 they all got cancelled!)

 

Even though I am hoping & praying that she is doing better & that it is not her voice that is affected... But if the silence keeps going & if the cancellations do end up happening, it just might be a possibility that she might not be able to sing anymore, & that will definetely change everything (& not to mention be ABSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKING to Celine & to all of us fans & well, to the rest of the world too, at least the vast majority of the world!)

It was towards the end of Eltons last residency at Caesars Palace (the 2nd one,) now I DONT think it was the LAST show that Celine attended, but I think it was near the end of it, like during his last leg of it anyway. & like you said, that was around 2017 when Elton ended his 2nd Vegas Residency.

Again- pessimism at its finest, but I’m wholeheartedly just expecting this to be an announcement that the show is no longer going ahead and her career is on indefinite postponement. I’m hoping, truly hoping and praying to whatever is or is not out there, that it’s good news and I can feel relief and happiness, but I’m just not getting that vibe at all.

 

Yep I have the EXACT FEELINGS as you do about it all... I really do think that judging by the NEVER-ENDING SILENCE of her team, that Celines health is NOT GOOD & that inevitably the remaining CWT tour dates will be CANCELLED & the new Vegas residency is just not going to happen...

 

Sorry to sound "pessimistic" here, but I just do not see anything happening with this silence from Celines team all these months... Besides posts of show cancellations/postponements, selling tour merchandise, & Celebrity obituaries, her social media has been so silent & things just do not look so good from some of us fans perspective these days!

 

The only small ounce of hope of seeing or hearing from Celine/her team is when the "Text For You" movie, (or the "Its All Coming Back To Me Now" movie or whatever the heck it is called now lol, since the title keeps getting changed & the movies release date keeps getting postponed lol,) is finally released! Lets hope this will MUCH MORE than a 5-10 second cameo aka that "Muppets" movie from years ago... That was a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT, & sadly I remember the media & even Celines team hyping up her "performance", just for it to be a 5 second cameo in it! I hope this will be much different than that, but I am not holding my breath about it, especially since Celines team has still been so silent these days!

+ the fact that Celine has *never* played the Christmas week. Her shows almost always cut off around December 17th/18th, if not even earlier, and don’t resume until NYE.

 

EXACTLY! Most of us long-time fans know this as fact! In her entire career, Celine has NEVER performed shows, whether on tour or in Vegas, during the week of Christmas & even during the week before Christmas as well! & especially since she became a mother! & okay even though she has not performed in almost 3 years at this point, but do you all think that she will actually perform during Christmas break, especially woth having kids?! Haha! We all know she WILL NOT do that!

 

Lets face it guys, it is already November, & it is VERY UNLIKELY that Celine will NIT be back to performing anytime soon, & that the new Vegas will NOT be happening anytime soon, not at least within the next few months... Come on now folks, tickets would have to be already released for sale, fans would need to have enough to book travel arrangements, time off from work, childcare arrangements for those of us who are parents, etc! So there is NO WAY that Celine is starting her new residency within the next few months at the very least, or even AT ALL since we have heard nothing from her team in months!

No. I was not affiliated with Dragone's company, nor Celine's or "A New Day..." However, I did submit a suggestion to them which was ultimately used (in a way). My post just meant that Dragone's work had inspired me, and continues to inspire me to this day.

 

Wow that is still pretty neat though! Its cool that they used a few of your ideas for that show!

 

Sorry I know that this post is a few weeks late, I am busy with work & home life with 2 little kids, so I have not been visiting this forum in a while, & plus with the lack of Celine news & updates on her social media pages in several months now except for posts about show cancellations/postponements, selling of tour merchandise, & endless "Obituaries of the Stars" lol, there would obviously not much to talk about Celine-related on the forum anyway with the never-ending deafening silence from her team until Lord knows when!
