For me, the Courage tour wasn't so bad. I think if she could have completed it, it would have been a very successful tour overall.

 

With that said, I much prefered the Hyde Park concert. I just didn't love the blue outfit.

When I think of the CWT I think of the covid era, the lockdowns, and the SPS diagnosis… so it’s time for fresh start.

The tour itself could be continued, but under a different motto and title and with a slightly different setlist, and most importantly: long and beautiful Celine hair instead of that short thin wig.

So, as predicted, Resorts World made an announcement... just not the one we wanted. Now, in all fairness, it's a comedy group in the theatre for one night in January, which leads me to believe we're looking at a Monday for an announcement drop because presales have always started Tuesday for Resorts World with the public onsale on Friday. I'll drop the announcement below but I think we should be looking (hopefully) towards next Monday. The RW calendar is open from March 17 - May 21 and June 2 - August 13 if Celine starts sooner rather than later. We shall see.

Exactly it’d be too random and it’d leave fans with lots of doubts and questions about how this months have been for her.

It’s kinda strange she plans a residency for next spring when she was supposed to be on tour that exact period.

Of course she canceled it because, we suppose in May, her conditions didn’t allow her to do so.

Yet, given the severity of the syndrome, how can her health change so positively in a few months?

This week has taught me that nothing is off the cards. Her surprise appearances have driven massive worldwide media attention - as if that was ever in question anyway, she's Céline Dion but still I hope she gets a sense of just how missed she is.

 

Here's what I would love, in order - but the reality is that just 1 of these things would be incredible, given where we were.

 

1. Rescheduling of the Courage World Tour.

2. Announcement of a new French album.

3. Announcement of a new English album.

4. Announcement of a new Vegas residency.

5. A big new documentary.

 

They will not reschedule the tour. It’s been canceled and refunded.

What I was thinking if all of a sudden they announce a residency or any kind of event but don't address in some way her recovery people will wonder what exactly going on, unfairly or not in how bad this disease is and how good she looks in recent outings.

We do not know if her symptoms were severe. Even a cold impacts a singer's ability to use their vocal cords the way they are used to.

A Vegas residency is much less work for her. She doesn't have to fly back-and-forth from Paris every show or few shows, and she goes home every night. April is the earliest she could start, and the tour was supposed to end in April.

I keep telling you all , If announcement is made it would be in Feb/ March timeframe. for a Nov start , You have to get all of her music family together to rehearsal

Fittings, Promotion's going , ext there is a lot to do,, I can see her doing what Adele has been doing Just weekends at first,, Then go from there ,

My friend told me a couple weeks ago that she is expected in Paris soon to work on a French Album

Her French albums are selling more than her English ones nowadays, maybe a French tour in 2024.

I also think that not to offend fans, she also decided not to make an appearance in public until a few weeks after this leg of the tour was due to end, so who’s not to say in the meantime that she’s been well enough to have meetings with CDA, Sony, Resorts World/Aeglive and has possibly already done an exclusive interview with Oprah or someone else which will air at a later date.

 

It feels like this train left the station quietly a few weeks ago and is building speed slowly but surely

She could also have had people come to her when it comes to costumes, rehearsals, etc. We all know how tight lipped Celine & Co. are so a lot of this stuff could already have been done, especially if it's been over Zoom or Skype etc. etc. The planning could be done as far as we know. All that's waiting is for the official announcement, and to give everyone a moment to breathe, remember that when she announced RW 2021 that she released a video alongside that announcement as well. I think things are definitely moving in a positive direction. It's just the waiting is the hardest part to see if anything is going to happen. But it definitely is trending that direction.

We also know that the RW show that never came to fruition… had costumes chosen, setlist completed, sets and lighting figured out… who’s not to say that if she returns and this show does happen… that she will just be tweaking somethings that she may have thought about later since she had to cancel… I bet the concept and direction of whatever they planned will be mostly the same… with the exception of changing some of the set lists especially if her voice isn’t as smooth as it was before.

One song I hope she sings - if she returns to Vegas - is the ballad version of A New Day Has Come. With some beautiful visuals.

This Vegas show could be something really beautiful. Classic Celine Dion… with breathtaking, elegant visuals.

 

Back in 2021, the show was being described as “clean”, by Céline and by others. Whatever that means. I’ll take it as something positive though.

 

Also, someone on here, one of the guys who seems to always have inside info that often proves to be true, said that “Us” was intended to be part of the setlist…
