I find it odd if she returns anywhere other than Las Vegas or Quebec for her first official concert. We know that Celine is very deliberate, but I think it’ll either be in her show business home; or home country.

She is under contract with Resort and they are waiting her since the opening. So you really think if she is able to do some shows she will say no to Resort near from her house and told them « sorry i cant do shows in vegas but i will travel to Paris for few shows »

The demand in Paris for the Courage Tour was insane; she sold out the equivalent of 16 shows at Bercy (with dozens of other dates all over Europe). Imagine her comeback being a sold-out limited engagement at Stade de France. The energy of the Paris audience is unmatched anywhere else.

 

Although I agree that Vegas should happen too if she's performing internationally.

I agree that "No Vegas" and "Yes Paris" seems very unlikely.

Resorts World made a post about the F1 race this weekend so I'm still betting that they drop an announcement either next Monday or Cyber Monday (that would be incredibly appropriate).

If it's coming on the 27th, that's Cyber Monday. Here's hoping. I work for a shipping company and we're about to go into our peak season so I really need some motivation to get through the holiday season. Having a vacay planned for a 6th return to Vegas and tickets to, oh let's say 3 shows, would do the trick.

We want her to perform again period… for the fans who never liked Vegas for Celine i think now is the time to accept the fact that more than likely the world tour days are over for Celine. To perform again would a be task in itself, I don’t think traveling would help. It’s one thing if you didn’t like Vegas before because Celine was more than capable of touring back in the day… now I think Vegas is the best, safest option for Celine.. it’s a lot less stress to home base.

I’m on the fence about her doing another residency in Vegas.

 

I do miss the days of going to see her there. And doing one more residency where she can reclaim her Queen of Vegas crown would be nice. Although, it being at RW would be a little strange when the Colosseum was built for her.

 

But I also I think, if she’s well enough to continue her career, doing totally new things would be great too.

 

I’d love to see her make more appearances out in the world and do fun stuff like this:

 

 

There are so many fun things she could do to keep her star, as a pop music icon, burning bright. And these type of things would probably get her more attention than doing another Vegas show.

 

But I think Celine enjoys the safety and stability that Vegas offers. It’s a way for her to offer her fans a wonderful show, do what she loves, then return to her own home every night. And that’s particularly important now, with her condition. So who knows what the future holds.

 

She caught us all by surprise by becoming a fashion icon after Rene passed away. So there might be more plot twists in our future.

 

I hope that career-wise, more than anything, she continues to record new music.

Guys, Vegas is a done deal. And it's done deal with Resorts World. If she returns to performing at all---which we know she wants to, and was the end goal following this diagnosis it was always supposed to be at Resorts World. She was their first artist signed from the AEG roster and according to RW exec's contributed to things she wanted in the Theatre, etc. Contractually, if she is well enough to sing again, it has to be at Resorts World, whether those who have gone think its garbage or not. Mind you, I don't know how people cannot like it, its a higher tier-property which is brand new and has a custom theatre built similar to the Colosseum. I presume; because i have not seen it, it has to do with location, feel/vibe, etc. But I'll judge for myself. Clearly landing Celine would have drove much more traffic than the likes of Perry, Carrie and Luke Bryan. I can only image they are biting at the bit to get her to launch. Which is why, it's very clearly evident that it's only matter of time; imminent actually that she is going to announcing given her showing up at Katy's concert with the AEG VP.

This isn't an indicator of anything. Katy's last show was a very likely place for the AEG officials to be at, same as they were present for celine's last Caesars show and as they are present for so many of the artists they represent.

 

They have also known celine for decades and have had a personal relationship with her and rene. So one of them being in one photo near celine doesn't necessarily mean anything other than him going over to say hi and have a little chat with her.

well let's hope she comes back, because she said in many interviews that's singing is "all she knows" and hopefully she can continue to do it on her own terms

Only problem with both of them, is that they never written about Céline, who is she as a person, her hopes, dreams, fears, what is happening in her life... JJ did that splendidly in French.
