I'm also not expecting a big announcement this year. But I do hope we get a holiday message from Celine.

I'm adjusting my expectations. But not squashing them.

 

I was hopeful for this year based on what i've seen. That being said, I do think if we dont get one in December we'll have movement on her Vegas return including announcements first quarter 2024.

A month today since katys final show and we saw Celine again. I’m back to thinking the appearances are just one off events and not a sign of things to come. Could be wrong but it’s too quiet.

She’s suffering from SPS. Expecting her to go from 2 public appearances to announcing a full blown residency or tour was very very wishful thinking from some here.

The hockey game appearance probably didn’t give anyone hope for Vegas residency….

 

The typical Celine behavior is very aware of optics and wouldn’t be seen in the same venue that she’s supposed to sing in.

 

However we are basing that off of old behavior maybe since her diagnosis she’s like “f*** optics”.

Cool your jets everyone......give it time, but 2024 is most definitely happening. Also note, there is no other resident acts annouced. It's literally like Carrie and that's it.. Luke is ending this month. If there was another act besides Celine it would most definitely have been announced by now.

I'm calling either next Monday (December 11) or the following (December 18) if we get an announcement in 2023 because I just got an email about the rodeo they're doing at RW that starts on the 6th. So we all know what this week's promo is. Luke doesn't return until the 29th and wraps January 6th so they have two weeks to get an announcement in and tickets on sale before his return. I haven't lost hope... yet.

She wouldn’t be rehearsing yet… he’s talking about an “announcement” which is on average 6 months or more earlier than the premiere.

Why doesn't Sony release/upload a concert from the Celine Vegas Show, Mini Tours or Courage Tour for the fans? Come on Sony!!!

The German TV Channel 3sat will show the 10 year old concert Une Seule Fois on New Year's Eve. We need a new DVD...

to me it sounds 50 50 , she might come back or she might not

celine is a fighter and she will try no matter how many times until she gets what she wants , the things is - what does she want?

i think that's what she and her staff tries to decide, in terms of profit too.

 

i think the katy perry vegas thing was just to show us taht she is doing better and she hasn't given up , whatever that means right now.

i am not a pessimist and not an optimist either, i am just waiting...

As much as I'd love to see her back on any stage... if she'd announce a Spring run in Vegas now, then I would be kinda pissed thinking... why were the European 2024 dates cancelled then? Of course I know that was due to the uncertainty of it all, but imagine how the general public would think!

That's a very real possibility. I think her return to Resorts World (because as I've said, I do think it's coming) will not be until June at the very earliest. That being said I think the annoucement will be before March or April. Unless she decides to launch in Fall of 2024, then we could expect an announcement around your time frame.

 

If she's in June i think we may see her announce something between now and mid-Jan.

Maybe not because the cancellation said something like « a world tour is very hard on the body even 100% healthy »

I don’t think people can really judge anymore about if and how she decides to return. If she just had something minor that forced a tour cancellation and then a Vegas residences was announced…rightfully so, I think people would be pissed.

 

However, after her SPS diagnosis, how can anyone expect this woman to tour?

Driving down the road to a venue daily where she can have stability is probably the only way going forward.

Not that I can recall (normally it's Monday or Tuesday) but considering the massive mountain they have to climb (presales for ticketholders to the original runs of shows, Team Celine, RW Theatre presale, and then onsale) I could see them announcing something on a Friday and having presales start the following Monday, especially for Celine.

I think something is coming this month.....if not an official announcement, a prelude to one. My gut is telling me its coming soon....
