I love when they used that ICONIC looks for Courage. That was great.

But yes I agree, Courage (song) could have been promoted a lot in first lockdown, because they were a lot of people who lost their loved ones. Especially in 2021

I was just thinking. Celine was well enough in health and spirits to do the Resorts World promo, so that would lend more evidence that her health isn't in too bad of a condition.

And she certainly was already vaccinated by that point, so these conspiracies about her having vaccine side effects ("paralysis"..wtf?) are even more BS.

Maybe the promo was filmed much earlier? She looked so lovely there.

As for the vaccines, sadly the mother of my friend after the second dose

got blind in her left eye, and another friend of mine suffering all of a sudden, after a third dose, from neurological problems, to list just a few cases.

They said that Celine's health issues came out of no where. Of course no one can know if Celine got any hurt from this and even if yes, I believe it will never be public. I'm afraid that she won't be able to come back for the entire 2022.

Here many people started to speak up and clear about the side effects, and yes it came up so fast after taking it.

The sad thing is, that I don't see in any way any celebrity that will speak about its horrific side effects.

Side effects are VERY rare. I never said they don't happen and that they don't suck. And they are not a reason to be afraid of vaccines given how rare they are.

But I would place very large bets that everyone who was on the filming set for the promo was vaccinated. That is why they were allowed to do all the work in person on a set. There were photos of Celine that were online from behind the scenes, probably shared on this forum too. And Celine revealed in May 2021 that she had already been vaccinated, with promo having been released in April 201 as far as I recall.

Those peeps are mostly fans of Britney or Mariah thinking they’re the Queen of Vegas and not Céline

Calling Britney who isn’t a great singer but a good performer and dancer is too much honor imo.

Of course she is still the Queen. But her Team and Sony suck.

Btw What Tour over the last 40 years was her best ??? For me it's the FIY Tour with the white outfit. I wish Sony would have released a DVD from the London show.

Taking chances worldtour was my very first Celine concert, so that really really impressed me. In 2013 I saw her in Antwerp doing a partly French show, during lmbtl time, that was amazing too…. But in 2017 she gave away an amazing show in Arnhem with a great setlist, a show I loved so much as well!

Yeah okay but courage was already released with a video. There are so many great songs on that album, better than courage if you ask me, that never got the right treatment they deserved..

Boundaries should be a single or The Hard Way.

One single that was very good was Lying Down.

Imperfections. I don't know, I mean it's a very good song, I love to hear it, but sometimes doesn't have a spark. .

But when I hear Imperfections, I'm doing all the Celine's moves and pretending to be in a photoshoot with a chair like her..she is frickin trendsetter.

I like The Hard Way but clearly that was not a song ever meant to be sung live. Edited by MLowery855

There should have been more music videos for Courage. All songs deserve one.

It did peak at #11in the US on the AC chart. Her highest position in years!

How, I mean yeah it's a good and catchy song? But not as great as other singles

Well I think it helped a lot that it was (or still is, I don't know) played on the radio numerous times. Many US-fans pointed out back then that they heard it on the radio. Here in Germany I didn't but is was surely played in the US

Imperfections was a nice addition to Celine's catalogue. I feel they should have picked one single and really pushed it. Imperfections could have been that one, apparently it was the most radio-friendly.

It was the perfect single for Celine at that time. When was the last time her song charted above #20 on any chart (aside from the dance chart)????

Will we get a post from Celine marking her anniversary?

If and when she does return I could see her doing a show of Only B-sides songs , and also doing a show of re-mixes ,,

I did read somewhere that she rehearses with her band of Hard Rock songs I could see her doing that as well

"Imperfections" was a great choice to promote from "Courage." However, there wasn't enough passion and dedication put into it. There should have been tons of remixes created for it. It deserved a better arrangement for when it was performed live. The "performance" she did during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade killed it due to her performing it on a remote stage, and not from an actual float. (She got hit hard for this.) The list goes on and on.

I think Imperfections can look good in Las Vegas.

THEY NEED TO CHANGE THE iMPERFECTIONS ARRANGEMENT, THE WAY IT'S LIVE, IT'S BORING, NO EMOTION, NO BEAT.

They need to use sampled drums plus the effects used on the studiodrums in a live arrangement. Not use normal drums

I don't get why the y can't do it. Anybody else can as it seems to me. If you are using effects in the studio, you have to recreate them live on stage or if you can't with ordinary instruments, play the studio track or the elements you need from it. There is so much possible in todays age of technic

Interesting new piece from USA Today.

We get confirmation of the Adele talks with RW as well as statement saying they weren’t looking to replace Celine’s canceled dates with another artist.

“In the beginning, it was Celine, an international superstar who upended the notion of Las Vegas as an artistic graveyard.

Her immediate success at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace – the $100 million venue constructed to her specificity – pioneered an eruption of one-named icons following her precedent: Elton, Cher, Bette, Rod, Reba, Shania, Mariah.[…]

“Starting with Celine and the other artists who followed, they’re trailblazers who believed in the potential and upside of this model and delivered extraordinary shows,” said Jason Gastwirth, president of entertainment for Caesars Entertainment. […]

But in October, the grand dame of residencies announced that “severe and persistent” muscle spasms were preventing her from rehearsing. Her spate of dates in November, January and February are currently shelved.[…]

Bobby Reynolds, senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas, which books the Resorts World Theatre, said the need to replace those vacant dates was less of a concern than establishing the venue’s reputation with a relevant act.

“I was not interested in filling in a weekend in January because Celine had canceled. We’re super-mindful of that theater and the reputation we want to build there,” he said. “We don’t want to sacrifice anything and we don’t want to negotiate on the caliber of talent.”[…]

For several months, Resorts World was the rumored landing spot for Adele, who will reportedly earn more than $2 million per show at her Caesars Palace domain, with each appearance generating about $600,000 per show gross, according to Billboard. In contrast, Dion averaged $654,000 for "Celine" (2011-2019)[…]

Meglen confirmed the Adele talks with Resorts World, but ultimately, “We really didn’t have the time. We were booked. She’s only doing Fridays and Saturdays, so if I’m the property, what are they doing Sunday through Thursday? Now you’re going to other artists and saying, ‘You can’t have the weekends.’ It’s printing money, so it’s a matter of how much are you going to print and how are you going to do it?”

Remember I believe in you , that she sang with Il Divo? One of their bandmembers Carlos Marin (left - in the video) has past away after being in hospital for some time. A fatal Corona infection.

I think Celine will make a statement as well, I am sure she will…

What a loss.

Well that’s the first thing she’s signed her name to in a long time.
