you what I find strange is that celine Didn"t send either Katy P, or Carrie U any flowers , we all know that she used to send flowers or something to new Performers , that seems very strange to me

So, they’ve taken down Perez Hilton’s video LOL he filmed the whole show.

 

Perez Hilton said at the end that this the 2nd biggest show he have ever seen since Céline’s A New Day.

 

This show “Play” by Katy. It’s like a kid’s show. There’s a small animation film every part of the show (Acts)

 

But the crowd is not loud. I think the longest clap was just 5 seconds then dead. And Katy is catching her breath. I think because she keeps on climbing with these huge props and it’s really high to hop on. So the pre recorded vocals are helping her + her back up singers - actually they’re great.

 

Overall if i were to choose which show i’ll pick to watch. I’ll choose Céline’s A New Day.

 

I don’t know there’s some boring parts of the show on Katy’s Play. It’s really like kid’s show.

If you have watched his video before deleting it. At the beginning, he said that vaccinated or not they’re welcome to the show but wear masks. And he also mentioned about Adele’s residency show that she’s very strict about the guidelines about going to her show that it should be negative in covid tests, vaccinated plus you need still wear a mask.

btw, this what i have been saying before about zooming in and the audio affects the quality.

 

as you can see in 6:36, it’s zoomed out (default) the audio is great. It captures everything (the cheer of the audience, the effects and all but at 6:39, he zoomed it in and the audio changes. Like it focuses at the middle which removed the effects and the cheer of the audience. That’s why the sound of their voices sounds raw and flat.

 

That’s why when you go to Céline’s concert. Don’t zoom in because it affects the sound quality. Almost all smartphones now have this “audio zoom” feature. I wish we can off this feature so even if you zoom it in the sound stay the same.

When I see this Katy perry show I still think it is a rather low ceiling. I much prefer the bigger and higher ceiling of the colosseum.

Shows like this are not going to translate the same to video as they are in person. Her shows are actually super colorful and fun!

My problem with Katy Perry is that she pronounces her vowels in very strange ways when she sings. It becomes this kind of robotic sound at times.

 

That said, I applaud that she had a clear vision and concept for the show visually. Though I did find the "Greatest Love of All" very out of place from what I skimmed.
