That's a dramatic take. She has delivered this show 52 times already, so I assume that on-stage rehearsals would be very minimal. The tour isn't supposed to resume until almost 3 months from now, and there is nothing else that would've had to be shared with the public up to this point for the shows to resume Feb 24. I'm not expecting to hear anything before EOY.

That’s the big perk of her returning with the Courage tour… she’s already familiar with the show and it would be a way for her to ease back into performing again. Instead of the pressure of launching a brand new Vegas show.

 

If I were RW, I’d want Celine to launch the best show possible… not the quickest start date. So I’m hoping she won’t start in Vegas until she’s had ample time to feel more than ready, with the strongest possible show.

I think in France she should sing Je Chanterai. The lyrics are so related to her situation . So moving when i listen to it. Looking into this globus syndrome stuff (as a Celine fan does in 2022 ), and came across a mention of symptoms similar to "hysteric seizures" where the whole body goes into spasm or several minutes at a time and often this is accompanied by a feeling of choking during the spasms. However, this will "usually go away in 5 minutes."

 

I read this on a random, non-official health website. But reading official medical school websites, you can see mentions of "cricopharyngeal spasms" aka the "upper esophageal sphincter" at the top of the esophagus/food pipe. Botox/steroid injections are mentioned as one possible treatment. If botox is chosen, sometimes the patient may be required to not speak for 3 months.

 

Could this be what she's going through? Or is it more her legs/back messed up from years on a raked stage and her history of back issues? More physical or mental -- or both?

I think she has a treatment with steroids (her face was a little bit fuller in early 2022), because of the spams and of course it has an effect on your body (voice or legs or both). And I hope, that she has good doctors around her and that her mental health is OK.

I am quite sure Madonna ended her Madame X tour. Maybe she will have a new album and tour, but Madame X era is done.

well, I sure that we will hear something from her team on weather this tour will continue Fingers crossed that they dont wait until the last minute to say something like they did last time and had ppl up in arms, cause ppl need time start making plans

The timeline is very interesting, because we don't know exactly when her symptoms and treatment started. But if whatever she has doesn't get better in 12 - 15 months, how likely is it to get better in the 6 - 12 months that follow? I know this is a very clunky way to deal with health/healing, but it's just a thought I had.

Maybe I am I usually negative when it comes to stuff like this but since resorts world calendar is open for the month of January except for a couple of shows I have a feeling that she is going to be rehearsing in the theatre in January and that’s why they don’t have anything booked.

 

Could be wrong but it makes sense for her to rehearse in that theatre for the tour / new show. I suspect we’ll also get an announcement on dates once she gets back rehearsing and sees if she can do it.

People were speculating she would come back in January but you’re onto something. Perhaps she’s just rented out the space basically. The stage setup was very similar to the courage world tour, with that LED screen box that goes up and down so they could get a very similar effect in the theatre and just rehearse that way.

Would she not be more likely to use a more low key venue off the beaten track? She may want to keep it on the DL if she does rehearse again so doing it in such a public spot like RW could be too far. Just a thought.

I mean if nobody knows she’s in the theatre, I feel like she could keep it under pretty close wraps. People probably wouldn’t think to look. I just think it’s got all the AV and tech stuff she needs to rehearse and she could get used to the space for when she does return.
