At this rate, I just wish Celine quality of life and healing. I think today, I have personally made peace with the fact that my favorite singer may possibly never perform again, and that’s OK… I just hope she doesn’t physically suffer, and is able to live a long, pain-free life with her children, and gets to enjoy all the fruits of her labor. God she deserves that.

 

100% agree! Just taking a little longer to come to terms that I’ll see her live again. I have been counting my blessings all day for all the times I have seen her, the memories, her sweet beautiful spirit. God bless! 🙏❤️

Perfectly said! I just hope she finds some sort of peace through all of this. For one thing, it’s allowing her to rest and spend unprecedented time with her kids. I’m sure she is loving that! We will all be here if she can come back, in whatever capacity that is.

The end part of her video killed me having just watched it again outside of work and got me quite emotional it was raw and unpolished from her usual videos were she got upset looked away and the camera cut.

I'm heart-broken. One of my favourite people in the world, the most beautiful spirit...She doesn't deserve to suffer like this. Seeing her tear up like that, I wish I could give her a big hug and make it all go away.

 

I just want her to be able to live a good life at this point, the rest is insignificant. But I'll hold onto my tickets for the postponed shows, that's for damn sure. The thought of performing again clearly motivates her, she needs a goal. She's got a fighting spirit. If anyone can do it, she can.

This is such devastating news. On a slightly positive note, it seems that Celine was diagnosed with this condition much earlier than most patients. Hopefully with this clarity, she'll be able to better manage her symptoms and slow the progression as much as possible. This must be so difficult for her. Wishing her and the kids well.

I am devastated for Celine. she can barely speak and what i also see how much she would love to sing for us again. That thought that she might not be able to sing again definately is my thought too. But as long she has something to hope for, to work for, she can postpone as long as she wants , I will keep my seat and even though probably unrealistic, maybe will hear her one last time again. I felt so sad watching her almost tearing up. As a lifelong fan of her it is a really sad thought but I am grateful everything she has given us through the many years of her incredible career. She has been a workhorse for so so many years and a beautiful person , so caring and humble. It is just sad. I am glad I have seen her multiple times in concert and treasure those moments forever.

 

Today I have watched many videos on youtube regarding the Stiff Person Syndrome and Just found this video , a lady who has the same disease. watch that video what she has to say

We don’t know the details. Also that a new day… stage couldn’t have helped.

 

I would definitely agree about the AND stage. The things I have seen listed as contributors to this disorder all point to Celine’s life for sure. What I was saying about the IVF injections, is that I feel if the injections them self were a contributor, the disorder would be more widespread in other women who have gone through IVF, specifically.

I saw an interview with a woman heading a SPS research institute (will find the link later) who said she started developing symptoms after the death of her husband. Emotional stress seems to be a big part of it too.

It's interesting that the late summer/fall shows aren't cancelled. She's supposed to come to Oslo in August. Of course I want to see her, but more than anything I just want her to get well and focus on her health. Nothing is more important. They can just cancel all of it. There will be time for concerts later instead of Celine' stressing about getting ready. I do wonder though, since they aren't rescheduling the last half of 2023, they might be thinking she's ready by then.

 

But for now I just want them to cancel everything. Let Celine take all the time she needs to get better. All her fans will be waiting for her.

Now I wonder what will happen with the Love Again movie? I’m assuming she probably won’t go to the premiere unless she is well enough to fly and walk the carpet. I know she probably could but I just wonder if her doctors would advise her to do that. I guess just depends on how she is closer to time.

 

I guess we will get some sort of new music in the middle of all of this. At least that’s something to look forward to.

What a touching reaction. She mentioned feeling sad for Céline, but also a sense of relief and inspiration to keep speaking up about the condition - which I think find very moving. Imagine suffering from a disorder that no one has heard of, and nobody understands, and then learning one day that the most talented singer in the world has it, too. She feels seen now and it’s renewed her motivation to keep fighting for a cure. Even if our worst nightmare is true, and Céline never tours again, just imagine all the good that can come from this that will improve other people’s lives - both mentally and physically. Even in this tragic chapter of her history, she continues to be a beacon of hope for people.

I feel drained today, after this news. You know they say things come in bunches, and this news definitely came at a weird time in my own life. But if I am worn out just from the initial processing of this news, I can't imagine how tough it must be for her to live with it day in, day out. Gosh I hope she is ok.

I feel exactly the same way. Bad timing for me, as I’ve recently been processing/unpacking an abnormal amount of grief in school, work, and my personal life. But the heaviness will subside eventually… just breathe and take one day at a time.

I can tell you I haven't slept that well... The whole situation kept on going round and round in my mind. Even friends were sending me messages how awful this is for Céline. The only thing we can do is be positive and send her positive vibes!!

Been thinking of her, and hoping there will be some positive news about her.

 

There was always something Celine to look forward too, and now it feels like it all suddenly just stopped.

And as selfish this may sound for some of you, I hope we can still enjoy some more time with Céline onstage. Whenever that may be.
