It’s increasingly obvious the trajectory of how she’s handled previous set backs etc there will not be good news. If she was better we’d know something by now. And you best believe resorts world are pressing for something. There is lots tied up financially with her so in this case no news is bad news. A co-worker of mine , knowing I’m a Celine fan out of the blue asked me in the office today if Celine was dying …she said “it’s unusual nothings been said about her in years “. Thinking that no news is good news is false hope IMO ... it was the same in 2021(before new Vegas show ... there was no inforamtion about Céline and it finished with cancelation) and spring 2022 was the same. I still hope little bit that tour will continue in february next year but as situation is the same as it was in past I think it´s not very likely. I don't expect Céline come out of silence 2 weeks before the tour starts and say "hi everyone I've started rehearsals for the tour".

I knew you love her…” It’s crazy people think it would not be a much bigger deal #1, but it’s just a massive rumor because no one has literally seen her besides 2 grainy pictures in a mask. But scary that the general public thinks she just died, like ummmm this next chapter will be interesting to see how she comes back to the biz.

And until she returns… there’s plenty of material out there already. I’ve been a fan for so long but there’s still so many things I’m discovering… interviews, etc.

I don't know how inter-connected her teams are but they have created individual FB pages for her shows ( you know the ones "attending" etc) lately , if there was plan to cancel, I guess they wouldn't have done it.

 

But again, I guess her 3 hour-per-week trainee who is her whole team doesn't know anything more and was just bored.

Just watched the show from Baltimore, and I was surprised at how solid the Courage tour is. It's not perfect... but it's very strong.

It's lightyears better than the final Vegas show, which I also recently watched. She's so much more present and energized.

With Celine out of the spotlight, I'm seeing that tour through a new lens.

 

The first Act (through The Power of Love) is particularly strong.

And the highlight for me is the solo version of The Prayer.

 

I think with some setlist tweaking / rearranging, it could be an even stronger concert. For instance, after her first costume change she shouldn't come in with Love Can Move Mountains, she should come in with something more surprising like a French song.

 

We set the bar so high for Celine. When you compare her to a peer like Mariah or even Madonna (who I saw perform in 2019), Celine puts on a much stronger show in recent years. Even Adele, who is a lot younger than Celine and more in her prime, can't compete with Celine's showmanship.

It will be interesting to see if she continues with the tour or not... And if so, how she will sound and will they make any changes. The end of February is coming fast, especially factoring in rehearsal time and all the prep work, so I imagine they'll be making a decision very soon.

If she isn’t ready they can’t postpone again, only option is cancel. If it is cancelled then we have nothing on the horizon in terms of plans. She could easily disappear for a few years or even call it a day completely.

I mean the merch was for sale in the Las Vegas RW boutique earlier this year too… I just think they’re trying to get rid of excess merch. Maybe they’re trying to make new merch or just get some made in Europe instead of transporting it over.
