I think that's because nothing changed in their official plans: She will be back in february 2023 for the courage world tour, around that time the promo for the movie will be happening... I think we will hear from her in autumn, like an interview or something similar

I don’t think she can postpone again. If she isn’t ready by next March then the tour has to be scrapped. The casual fan will not accept them holding onto their money for 4/5 years (if the gigs were moved from 2023 to the end of 2023 or even 2024)

Allegedly she was spotted in a Whole Foods in Vegas, otherwise nothing. She's signed as herself on Twitter a couple times recently, so that's cool. I am sure she no longer is the "no technology" Celine.

Just general stuff and the good news appears to be that she will return soon. Not that I have watched all the way to the end. No new information there though.

I think i listened to Chromatica once... so if I were to see Gaga I would rather hear songs from The Fame

 

I don't know what went wrong with the Courage setlist vs. the perfect setlist of the Live 2017 shows. I had so much hope when Scott was finally in charge... but that soon faded when Live 2018 was just a meh rehash of Live 2017 and the Vegas show was just getting worse too. It's great IYAMT was brought back and TP was performed solo, but that weird 'tribute' medley is so unneeded and that should have never been included. You're the Voice would have been enough. Also IMO ABM should go now. That song needs a rest.

 

I think the biggest 'problem' is, is that Céline doesn't write her own songs, so she's not that committed to them. If you wrote (and composed) a new song all by yourself (no pun intended ) you'd be more proud and determined to get that song heard. TCWT kind has become the doomed tour: sickness, Covid, sickness again... Even the fact the wikipage doesn't even have the English setlist, says nobody ain't bothered.

 

I would love if these songs were part of the setlist:

FOMO (even in a more ballad version)

Courage

Imperfections

Nobody's Watching

The Hard Way (this is a MUST!! as it's the best song of the album!!)

Speaking of Wiki, if anyone has Wikipedia editing powers, there is the "greatest selling female artists" of all time page that incorrectly lists Celine at 200m when the source linked below shows it is 250m. I was hoping a fan could correct this.

Wasn't there a rumor that Celine was going to be recognized for selling 300 million albums in 2020? And then the pandemic happened.

 

Or did I just make that up in my mind?

 

Rene was always so great at making sure Celine got recognized as the icon she is. I miss those days, and I'm hopeful she has a huge comeback next year.

 

She's such a rarity. For someone - who's in the same league as Whitney Houston vocally - to still be able to sing so beautifully after so many years is unheard of. Celine is a precious jewel.

 

Now if she'd just knock off that bedroom voice singing stuff!

Why would they say anything? There's absolutely nothing on her roster for the rest of this year except to rest and get better by next year. The only thing that should be done is getting more stuff uploaded to her streaming platforms. Her channels desperately need all her remixes officially uploaded, as well as many, many other pieces. I don't expect any of that to happen, though. TeamCeline will just continue TeamCeline'ing as usual.

Granted, this is coming from someone who never saw the show in person, but looking at the setlist for the "Let's Talk About Love Tour" makes me feel incredibly underwhelmed. Again, so many missed opportunities. Instead of "Declaration Of Love," "Just A Little Bit Of Love" should have been in its place. Instead of the covers medley, there could have been one to two songs from the album featured. (This would have been a great "cooldown" moment for "Miles To Go (Before I Sleep)" after having come off of the bombastic "All By Myself.")

Well they released Au Coeur du Stade for the French version of the tour so I am quite sure they must have filmed some of it.
