I doubt any more Courage songs will be added - they're too difficult for her to sing live and, unless she goes back to lipping heavily because she's in Vegas, she seems to like to add songs she can actually sing these days. One of the only exceptions I could see is "Say Yes" - she should be able to do that one live. I think there's a better chance she'll add the new Dianne Warren song as well as sing new covers. She might go back into her old catalogue and sing an old single, as she did with WDMHBN in Vegas and then IYAMT during Courage World Tour.

 

And we have the less performed songs that are better known like:

 

The Reason ( this one seems to always try to make its way in a setlist, but usually goes away… probably due to the difficulty of the song)

Taking Chances

 

My Love

 

Water and a Flame

 

Any of these 5 songs wouldn’t surprise me if they made a return.

It’s time Ashes made a return. It’s the perfect song for the current climate coming out of a worldwide pandemic. That and it should have been in the setlist from the beginning.

Side note I would also die if she sang "Barracuda" by Heart at some point. She already sang "Alone", but hearing her really rock out to a proper rock song like she did early on her career and a few times later on would really be something. She shines in the genre.

Agreed. Especially the "Radio Remix" of "A New Day Has Come." I also hope she'll take a risk and perform one of her songs live for the first time that she's never touched outside the studio. Just one. That's all I'm asking to get. I don't find that to be unreasonable. Anything. Even one I'm not a huge fan of like "Tu nages," "If I Were You" or "Forget Me Not." Seeing them performed live could possibly help me appreciate them more.

I don't anticipate any changes happening once the show relaunches... considering they are also putting together a brand new Vegas residency right now.

I think Celine will just want to get back into the groove of what the show already was before the pandemic hit.

With that said, I'd love to be pleasantly surprised and hear Ashes or Nothing Broken But My Heart, etc.

But I can't imagine they'll be replacing the medley... there was too much work put into those visuals.

 

Even if there are no changes, it will still be very exciting once it relaunches.

Celine will hopefully be refreshed and full of energy... and that voice of hers has also gotten a long, much deserved rest.

I imagine audiences will be extra excited too, since concerts have been on hold for so long.

I read it and seems they are basing all this on what is "in the schedule" not necessarily guidelines since each Canadian city has a different restart schedule.

 

I know I sound broken but I cannot speak for all Canadian cities but for Vancouver it has been repeated again and again by our Provincial Health Officer no restart on shows till September. Everyone on Ticketmaster in regards to Vancouver shows has cancelled except those two(up till October). As I have said my cousin works at Ticketmaster and in their internal files they have those show as cancelled but they are still waiting to hear from Celine's team about whether or not she will reschedule for Vancouver.

 

If I had to bet she is just waiting to the last min incase anything changes which for us personally here it won't again don't know about elsewhere. Meanwhile I think CBC needs to do better with their research before they put out such info and mislead people much like the CNN article a few weeks back

There's something coming down the pipe for this tour,, There are ALOT of tickets remaining on this tour for BOTH US side and ALL of CANADA side of this tour, and its starts next Month , I really cant see this happening with so many tickets available in all of US and Canada ,,

If it is work related, they probably get exemption. My friend is a Canadian but he works in Alaska, and he gets to come back home once every three weeks, stay home for couple weeks and then travel back to Alaska. He has been doing this throughout the entire pandemic.

I agree. The U.S. dates should all be able to happen as planned. The country is essentially going back to life pre-pandemic, even though there are 5 states (Nevada being one of them) where Covid cases and deaths are still rising. I don't know what they'll decide to do about Canada's dates. And yes, I think we should find out later this week or early next week.

Yes I know AEG cannot dictate the government but it's prob her call whether she will be able to reschedule or just fully cancel the Canadian leg. I don't think AEG decides that I think it's her and her team and then they work with AEG and decide based on her schedule in the coming year which is already tight due to Vegas. For the most part by now it should be set in stone most provinces have had their restart schedule mapped out she should know overall what is happening that is what I mean when I said why doesn't she just announce it now. The US will prob go on as I just saw Michael Bubble's tour is restarting in the US next month.
