Courage World Tour - EU shows CANCELED

I feel the only reason she would do a private concert is for the payday. Hopefully this turns out to be a true thing and the concert actually does happen.

If its not a specific charity gala that she’s shown support for/ is in support of then its almost certainly for the pay. However, as far as I know, the last time she did one she was in the middle of her final Vegas run, which for me made little sense considering how much that run made more than the standard runs of shows

if and when this tour re-sume the tour which songs do you think will be dropped or add in, and I wonder what kind of out-fits she will have

I suspect when this tour resumes the only changes we will see will be Celines hair and outfits 😂

i think it would be appropriate to add / sing "a new day has come" .... except a new day really is never gonna come with all of these new variants.

Yeah, who know the future?

What's the news on Omicron? I don't want Celine to postpone or cancel again

i'm not sure on the latest, but people are being ordered to mask up again for indoor events. and omicron won't be the last variant. vaccinate hesitancy, and the refusal to give vaccines to countries who can't produce their own have no doubt had a bad effect on stopping this virus.

We’ll be in this ongoing situation as long as there is not a long lasting solution, a medicine that cures COVID. Next year we will be in the same situation , mark my words. And to be honest , I see the tour being postponed again. No way stadiums will be filled with people next year, no way. It is already the end of the year and the Omicron variant just emerged and right now , as here in my country, everybody will get an extra vaccination asap. And who knows what kind of mutations will emerge next year. I am afraid corona will stay for a long time…

So I see the European tour postponed again..or maybe even cancelled. You cannot postpone forever.

Well, if everyone gets a booster shot and the booster shots are effective, then we are in the same place we were before Omicron. And that means activities can resume as they were for vaccinated populations.

That said, I am also quite pessimistic as you are. I believe science is telling us that COVID will never fully be eradicated, it will be like the annual flu. (As far as I understood).

Yes but filled stadiums and venues - how can they spread all those people over the supposed concertdates they already bought tickets for? I mean the floor, the first ring , second ring ..distance between seats…no way to give all those people their seats and for all that paid for expensive seats, this won’t be the seat they paid for. I just don’t see this tour happen.

Not sure what it's like in the rest of the world, but here in the US a good majority of arenas are requiring proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test no sooner than 72 hours before the event. Most if not all are also requiring masks for everyone in the building. Unless things get really bad, there's a good portion of the US who are actually taking this thing seriously and I don't see live entertainment, especially the Courage tour, being in danger of being cancelled based on the Omicron variant. Time will tell.

New Signature Coming Soon!

Do you guys think that celine will give us fans a christmas message

I also think that sometime in Feb we might start seeing her again to start promoting the tour again

Fingers crossed

Throwback. It’s a good call they removed this song in this medley. It just killed the energetic vibe from the previous song.

This reminds me,to remind you to listen to Courage.

We are gonna make it if we stick together. When everyone sticked together for the poll in Billboards, O Holy Night became the second most voted song. So we know we can do wonders if United.

Come on, let's go!

Such a bad placement for that song. Not even presented as a new track from the album. Just. No.

I'm not quite sure I understood your point. If the vaccines provide ample protection against this new strain AND people get their boosters, then I personally could see the tour resuming. That is a BIG if and we are still waiting on answers.

South Korea just banned gatherings of 5 or more, so I'm not sure that is an encouraging sign.

I just want to know if the shows will go ahead. They have had my money for 2+ years without a performance. Hope I hear soon.

Isn’t it safer to do a show in an open space like stadiums rather than in venues like theaters..

Yes, hence why South Korea has banned large indoor gatherings.

Let's get Celine to some classic Greek amphiteaters

FOMO should have got and stayed! on the place in ottawa, right after the second song, as one of the opening tracks and Celine introducing it as one of the new songs. Such a shame this song isn't in the setlist anymore, I hope she adds it back. It's her anthem like recovering was for a while Edited by ordinary fan

First of all I hope Celine is well and able to perform in March. But Omikron could destroy every plan. Here in Holland we are in an ‘evening lockdown’ since weeks and it seems they will announce a full lockdown again tonight… it is 2020 all over again.

Yep, with the situation right now, I can't imagine the tour happening next year.

It's really too early to tell for sure, but Omicron has me feeling a bit more optimistic right now. It spreads so fast that it will soon outcompete Delta, but it doesn't seem nearly as dangerous for now. South Africa has the highest covid numbers they've ever had, but number of hospitalisations and deaths have not gone up at all.

So if this holds up in other countries (again: too early to tell), this might be the point where covid becomes 'just a flu'.
