In my opinion, this was nothing new but a continuation of a trend. Celine has very often felt rather far away, exclusive, and off trapped in Vegas. I feel close to Celine when the occasional authentic or actually worth watching clip/interview comes out. Carpool Karaoke was one example, I felt drawn in and up close with Celine.

Speaking personally, I don't feel close to Celine as a person when I watch fan videos from Vegas. I'm just watching videos of her singing, which to me is not quite the same thing.

 

I mean, maybe during the first residency she was constantly out there and doing interviews. 2010 - 2019 seemed like at least HALF the rate of promo and interviews as 2002 - 2007, but that's to me.

Same here... sad that so many people still not see what's really going on and that's for sure not a pandemic in the medical or health aspect but governement against the people they should take care of. But they doing the opposite of it.

The Netherlands is in complete lockdown, because they were too late with vaccination and again too late with the boosters. Instead of protecting people, looking at other countries while making decisions, they were panicking over Omicron and decided to put the whole country in lockdown out of the blue. A purely political and unnecessary decision. I work as a medical doctor myself, in The Netherlands, and think they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves and think it’s crazy. That’s just my opinion.

We already have been in lockdown since december 19th and it looks like it won’t change soon.

What is with this black or white attitude? It's not about zero covid, it's about lessening and reducing the amount of spread, infections, sickness, and death.

 

Just like traffic lights and stop signs with driving cars. No one said they are going to cut out all car crash deaths, but the reduction is significant.

I only know that they went popular with this song(it has about 10 or 15million views), maybe Celine wanted to promote them too because their hit just came? Just a obvious guess here.

 

 

But your point isn't bad, instead of singing their song on your album promotion world tour, she should invite someone who can sing one of Celine's song with her. Maybe Courage itself or imperfections.
