I don't think we'll hear anything from her until the beginning of February at the EARLIEST. I don't think the optics would look incredibly great if she came out and looked well enough to be performing during her canceled second run of Vegas dates. Time will tell though. A lot can happen in 2 months.

I think he does an outdoor wilderness type of show on TV. He wants to drag Celine to the jungle That would be really fun seeing Celine in that type of environment, I bet she would be hilarious.

They canceled shows through February 5, so I expect we'll hear from them then. Do you post to social media when you've called-in sick to work? It seems Celine doesn't!

Worried that we have not seen or heard from Celine in so long......

I have finally come to terms with the fact that Celine will no longer be available to us the way we were used to. Nowadays she doesn't care much about her fans, it's all mainly about business and money making. So I don't even expect any video messages anymore from her.

 

They have all this cool material in their vaults, various recently filmed concerts, all the BTS of the making of Courage from which they only gave us very few minutes or even jsut seconds. It shows that all this cool and interesting material is not intended for fans, but only for general promo on social media. It's very sad, but it's the reality.

I don’t think it’s that she doesn’t care about her fans. I think it’s that she’s dedicated such a significant portion of her life to her career - and she’s, understandably, taking a step back during the pandemic. She knows that we understand why she’s in her cocoon right now.

 

She’s had to learn a lot of hard lessons - both personally and professionally - since Rene passed away.

 

She will re-emerge when she’s ready.

 

And I do hope that, someday, Celine rolls out more material from the vaults. I hope she toots her own horn (or allows her team to) the way Rene did… and the way other artists of her status do.

Me too, certainly the European leg. I see no reason why it shouldn't. Hopefully Celine will be feeling better by then and this wave of Covid should have passed by May. Travel in Europe was fairly easy last autumn and I went to France and Belgium from the UK for work and holiday several times. I expect it will be the same this year. I am boosted and have the tousanticovid ap so should be ready to go for Paris in September, tickets for Birmingham in May and Dublin in June as well. As long as sensible precautions are taken it should be quite safe.

I think even the US dates should be fine Covid-wise (since after every Covid peak there seems to be a period of relative stability and lower case numbers). But when it comes to Céline's health, who knows.

Guess we'll have to wait for another month or so for an update.

In my opinion, this was nothing new but a continuation of a trend. Celine has very often felt rather far away, exclusive, and off trapped in Vegas. I feel close to Celine when the occasional authentic or actually worth watching clip/interview comes out. Carpool Karaoke was one example, I felt drawn in and up close with Celine.
