No it's not just you I feel the same way. I have tickets for night one of Vancouver and I have health problems and have all my life I am extremely high risk and just have no desire to go to a show so soon especially since I have no guarantee of being fully vaccinated at this point. There SHOULD be a refund option available REGARDLESS of whether she goes through or not this is going to be a massive issue for many people if she doesn't postpone.

Much easier to cancel this tour Celine!

I'd feel relieved tbh everything is so uncertain. I know alot of people will be quick to say oh but we have a vaccine yes we do but for alot of people going to these large events will not be as easy as snapping their fingers they will need time to get used to this new situation. And if it goes ahead before full vaccination then the arena will have to decide what to do with those who have refused vaccination. Rogers Arena holds 19 thousand people. In no way will I be comfy going to an event of that size in less then 3 months.

I sound broken but they are being ridiculous there should be a refund option available even now. In normal circumstances they allow refunds as long as your excuse is legit so it blows my mind they won't allow refunds in such unprecedent circumstances(this is after talking to Ticketmaster via email and telling them my reasoning)

As for the tour ,I'm hoping that things will be postponed until next yr as well,, I still have my AZ show that is in Sept and the DC show, I was thinking about selling that ticket , so that I could go to VEGAS So we will see what happens next

Major music festivals are going ahead? I think that’s a sign that the tour is certainly going to finish off the American dates. Not sure about Vancouver, but hopefully by then the vaccine will be available and administered to anyone who’s got tickets. Keyword: “hopefully”

I think the issue public health officers are having and this is the case here too is that they are more lenient with outdoor activities and shows but because they feel the virus is easier to transmit indoors they are being more cautious there. For me I would have my second dose if things go well mid-late August but many won't be vaccinated fully till September/October because for us it goes by age and category. I got mine a bit earlier as I fall into the high risk category but under normal circumstances I'd otherwise be getting my vaccine late this month and then my second dose would have been October. And with Trudeau refusing to open the border at this point it will cause many people from the US whom have bought tickets for the Vancouver show problems. I have already seen many complain to ticketmaster about this issue.

EDIT so it seems this is how the US is doing it for now I don't foresee Canada doing this though not yet atleast we are much stricter with our rules:

@Lollapalooza

will officially return July 29 — August 1, 2021. Lineup announcement and ticket onsale both coming tomorrow. Full COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results will be required to attend.

I have refunded my Vancouver tix, simply because with the VIP package tix I got, I wasn't allowed to upgrade my seats should the ticket price drops in the future, while if I bought regular tix, I would be able to move my seats up if the price of those seats drop to the same price as I paid.

I am pretty sure they will postpone the Vancouver shows again.

You were smart I should have done that. I was foolish at the time of the refund. I thought we'd be done by now or atleast she would have pushed it back I never thought we'd be in this mess of waiting on these shows in the middle of a new residency being announced.

No worries, we are almost there, just three more months away, they will probably make an announcement soon.

Just a mental note:

If you are not from Greece, never buy tickets for Celine... I'm getting crazy to be refunded... Viva.gr only writes in greek and there i am having faith in google translate.. hahaha... so desperating... and there is only one week to ask for the refund!!!! hope I get refunded... If I lost 300 euros... I'm going to get really mad... haha

I think whatever dates are scheduled will be the last of it. The initial November shows in Vegas are just to launch the theater. There will be other dates worked around the tour I'm sure. And once it's done it's going to be Vegas for a while, aside from mini tours in Europe, etc.

So now that she's announced more Vegas shows this is going to be interesting to see how it will affect the remaining dates going forward. So Ontario announced their re-opening plan today and BC on Monday. I read some extracts from the Ontario re-opening and it makes no mention of concert returns seems that is very far away from what I have read so far. Indoor dining is not even allowed when the summer re-opening begins in June. I can't see these shows going ahead. Canada is super strict. Now if she had a Quebec shows the Quebec gov announced that from May 28th indoor events are allowed with up to 2,500 people. Edited by Kristinaz

I've noticed on Celine's official Facebook page, over the past couple of days, they've been "adding events"... and those events are the existing Courage World tour dates. I guess they're doing this for promotion? It keeps popping up in my feed.

Perhaps this is a sign that Celine does plan to move forward with the concerts as scheduled.

Canadian gov is not backing down. The only place allowing indoor events is Quebec (up to 2,500) the rest are still not opening from what I have heard so far. I can't speak about the US obviously.

Ok so Saskatchewan has announced their re-opening. Second week of July they will determine gathering sizes until that point indoor gatherings during Step 2 will be limited to 150. Ontario seems to be taking a similar roadmap with "larger" gatherings beginning July 15 but no word how many people will be allowed but press conference is on going if I hear anything else I will post.

For those who desire to see the breakdown of these re-openings here are the outlines from gov websites. Considering so far it seems there will be a limit in capacity in regards to indoor events I am thinking no way the show will go forward

One of the two main organizers for the show in Bucharest has sent an email regarding options following the rescheduling of the show to 2023. Apparently, they worked with Céline’s management to organize this kind of raffle where, out of the people who keep their tickets, 10 fans will get to go backstage with the tour manager, visit Céline’s dressing room and dine with Céline’s team (cooked by the tour chef). 50 will have their tickets upgraded while 20 will get posters. Also, they said they are collaborating with Céline’s management and will announce more surprises and gifts in the future. Isn’t that pretty cool?

That is really cool!! Wonder what other surprises and gifts they have up there sleeves. The 10 lucky fans who get the M&G and backstage tour will have a once in a life time experience! Jealous that don’t add something like that to these expensive VIP packages.

There's no reason why they cant give us a DVD of this tour if and when it finishes ,

I was just thinking about it… And for some reason to me at least I always had a feeling that René, When the manager of Celine, was the one that was pushing for the safe set list including all the hits and cover songs. So naturally thinking when Celine took over that we might see more artistic development within the set list I only realized that may be Rene who was more artistic of the two?

I mean take her prior world tour before this one, the “taking chances “ World tour…I remember thinking that she didn’t perform enough songs from the album of which the tour was named after… UNTIL this “Courage” tour.

The comparison:

Songs from the album “Taking Chances” performed during the “Taking Chances” World Tour:

1. Taking Chances

2. Alone

3. My Love

4. Shadow Of Love

5. Fade Away

6. Eyes On Me

Those 6 songs performed alomost duration of tour^^^^^^

With the rare performances of:

7. Can’t Fight The Feelin’

8. The Just The Woman In Me

9. A Song For You

10. A World To Believe In

Verses... Songs from the Courage Album performed on the “Courage World Tour”...

1. Courage

2. Imperfections

Those two performed as of late ^^

With rare performances of...

3. Flying on My Own

4. Lying Down.

Very weird to me to name a tour after an album and not promote the album. I understand she liked the name but extremely odd to name a tour after a album that was brand new at the time and barley sing from it.

Setlists did get more interesting and less ‘safe’ after René stopped being her manager. Remember 2015 Vegas, the 2016 tour, the 2017 tour, even the Courage World Tour to some extent.

They can ask the team about Lying Down Music Video.

Oh come on. Let it go already. If I got the chance to spend some time with her team I would surely find other, more important and more interesting things to ask. It would seem quite silly to me to ask anyone on her team (and certainly not Céline herself!) about the LD music video.

It was clearly a joke. And moreover, Celine doesn't actually knows when stuff will release, especially something which was made to believed that it will but didn't.

Not really, other than the 2016 tour. And right now if anything the “courage” tour is the safest setlist of any tour. She sings the hits, and even leaves some out like “ANDHC”, “IDAN”, & “Ashes”.....sings the same non hits LCMM and RDMH, sings two songs from the current album and name of the tour. Added one song IYAMT that hadn’t been sung in while....then she pays tribute dead rock and roll artists.... any of this sound familiar? It’s essentially the TCWT Except worse because it’s got more random covers and less new album songs. I seen the tour live, still love her but the reality is the CWT is not only one for her most boring shows but also more of the same.

Only the biggest fans are your biggest critics, remember that... to the people here who bow down to every thing she does and comes for the ones who don’t . :)

😂 thank you for that. Amen !

I’m certainly a bigger critic toward Celine than you ll ever be if that matters.

But what you say is factually wrong in many ways.

No I don’t believe you are, I’ve been here 11 years before you, I’ve read a lot of posts..Javito puts you in his pocket!

And I’m one of the biggest critics here so there’s room for two of us.

This CWT brings almost nothing new... it’s all recycled with the exception of 3 songs and new cover songs, hell she even couldn’t get rid of the prince song after years. Oh let’s not forget about YTV.

I am one of the biggest fans. Been a fan since 1990. Seen so many tours and so many concerts. And I completely disagree with you. Courage World Tour is, imo, the best tour she’s ever done. You’re The Voice is the most political Celine has ever been. To tour the United States of America and sing an anti-gun song…that takes Courage.

She and I are the same age. The dance medley is an incredibly fun ride of nostalgia. A true highlight.

Then you’ve got the beautiful solo version of The Prayer. Tous Les Blues!!!! All of her greatest hits. And then Imagine at the end - again, a powerful political statement.

Best tour for this fan. Hands down.

Do you think Celine even knows or thinks it’s an “anti-gun song”?

Also, I enjoy TP and TLB but all I was saying is they’ve been done. In terms of originality, and supporting the album of the same name... it’s a bust. No reason to sing AOBTD or Kiss before a new album track, from the same name as the tour.
