I think without actual confirmation, that this is almost confirms that the Vegas show will launch somewhere in between the 2022 and 2023 dates, otherwise why such a long wait?

Celine seems far too happy about the tour being postponed again. She does look incredible indeed!

 

Really hate how she says see you in 2023.... I hope she plans to work on other projects within this time! Come on Celine.... give us something....

She has to come across positive for an announcement like this. She knows it’s going to be disappointing to a lot of people, but she can’t show that.

She is probably beyond the moon. She never had this much free time win her whole life! And I'm glad she can finally experience free time and take it easy. Although I hope her team will give us something very soon and will release a concert or a docu. She doesn't have to do anything for that.

This is probably the only tour which has had so many people wanting it to end yet it will also likely be her longest tour ever. 4 years!!! (and counting )

I wonder after 4 years will these shows still actually be “Courage” tour will they just take the new Vegas shows on wheels there, I’ll find it hard to believe if Celine does two different shows over a couple years, as we know she has a tendency to dive into a show and stick with it for a long while.

 

I think the shows will be different from the 2019/2020 CWT shows and also different from the Vegas shows. I don’t agree that she tends to stick to one show for a long time. Quite the opposite actually. She often switches between shows, whether it’s Vegas and mini-tours or English and French.

What's wrong with the hair? Usually from home messages she has given us, her hair is normally in a bun and without makeup.

 

It’s better than the usual bun of course but perhaps still a bit underwhelming or not glam enough for a movie. As for the chair, you can literally buy that from a store and put it in your dining room if you want, it’s not such a reliable clue. She could have been shooting for something else. It’s a great look, don’t get me wrong; just not what I expect to see in “Text for You”.

My québécois boyfriend says it's definitely weird that she said vingt vingt trois. lol He doesn't think he's ever heard anyone say it that way. Maybe people who just started learning French. lol

In Romanian we also say the whole number like in French and when a former prime-minister said “twenty twenty” instead of “two thousand twenty” she was ridiculed and got huge backlash. I don’t know how acceptable it would be to French people.

I think they filmed that a while back when they were filming the RW announcement, cause the actual hair style and makeup looks similar enough, and with access to a quick set up and camera I’d say they probably took advantage of that

I think her hair was slightly different in the RW commercial. Not a huge difference but enough to make me think the videos were shot on two separate occasions.

I mean I would say maybe she should cancel the “courage” tour at this point and if she wants she could still do her mini tours in those cities in between Vegas as he has done before. But I’m sure her team is thinking then if they cancel this “courage” tour they would have to refund all the money and re sell a new show, so it’s probably easier to just call it the “courage”‘tour and have most of the seats already sold. However, it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s an entirely different show or a merging of the “courage” tour show and her new Vegas show. But the logic is very hard because many of these people from those cities are usually fans who would travel to Vegas to see her in the past.... I hope they offer something different to still get those people on a plane to Vegas..also some may no longer come so close in that time frame. I don’t envy their job this time around...because to me it seems to make more sense to cancel the reminder of this tour and bank on many of those fans coming to Vegas to see her.

Why? This isn't so different than when she did three consecutive summer tours. At least those that payed and still want to see her know they still have the chance. Especially those that live in countries where she's going for the first time ever.

 

And not everyone has the luxury to travel to Vegas.

Many people here just want their money back and are angry with the fiasco as for refuds or being able to pick the date for the show- originally she had two shows. From the last time I checked, yes, many tickets left for the second show (Dates were changed many times, many people even didn't get the same seat they paid for...)

 

Anyway, who would imagine that that's the way they will treat people when it comes to a star on her level.

So many fans are upset. I hope one day Celine will make a tour here that will be worth to go to where she sings the songs of her own.

Well, when you wait until everyone else has already booked the venues, this is what you get... Although I will cut them some slack, because her size of a tour is much larger than many other artists, so they need it to pan out logistically.

It would be unacceptable to French people. But maybe acceptable to Québecois people. Actually, I've heard another girl from Québec on Youtube saying "vingt vingt-et-un" instead of "deux milles vingt-et-un" and I thought it was a thing in Québec. But it's true that I've heard many people from Québec saying "deux milles vingt-et-un".

I think people who say "vingt vingt" (as said in English) are people who speak both languages fluently and get influenced by the bad anglos...

That's what happens in bilingual areas... a mix of both languages and both get distorted.
