manu23 Posted April 6, 2021 at 03:54 PM Posted April 6, 2021 at 03:54 PM The bear likes negativity (as usual) but I prefer to look at the positive side of things. If anything, this pandemic has proven that humanity and science are capable of overtaken adversities like this. At the beginning of the pandemic all experts said it was impossible to have a vaccine before two years. Well, we got not one but many in 9 months. How great is that? Of course it is a challenge to produce so many doses, but availability is now increasing rapidly. In Spain more than 70% of people over 80 are already vaccinated. This has reduced mortality rate in nursing homes by 99% from January to March! Yes, vaccinated people can test positive but they don't develop any symptoms. And not all vaccines give you full immunity for live. You need to get your seasonal flu shot every year and most likely it will be the same with covid-19 until the virus has weakened over the years. So unless covid mutates to a new variant that needs a totally new vaccine, I am confident I will be seeing Celine in summer 2022. 1 Quote

I think some people are holding out hope because they have yet to officially cancel her late summer and fall concert dates. I, personally, don’t think large-scale touring will come back until 2022 but for those who have tickets to yet to be canceled shows, I think they’re still hoping. Quote

Okay, I would love if Celine showed us one of her recipes from lockdown that she makes. That would be so fun if she did some little short cooking video for a magazine. Her personality would make it so entertaining! I am sure the internet would live. Or maybe she's just enjoying her peanut butter hehe 2 Quote
Shamrock_1982 Posted April 7, 2021 at 03:47 PM Posted April 7, 2021 at 03:47 PM Guys, we all know she’s too busy in Vegas driving her own car to Walmart to pick her own tomatoes, and walking around the forum shops in a pair of sunglasses, flats and no extensions spending her thousands on clothes, jewellery and shoes of course.... jeez give her a break she’s a busy woman! 2 Quote

I keep seeing it here and in the Facebook group that people are gearing up to go to these shows. Celine officially postponed them. No need to go based on what the tour sponsor hasn’t done yet. As before, I figure they'll make an announcement around 30 days before the next concert is scheduled. The summer shows are definitely going to happen. I'm sure it's all insurance reasons for waiting. They have to make sure the government will still be banning concerts of that size in order for them to get any sort of settlement/help. Quote

Dancing_Queen Posted April 8, 2021 at 10:25 AM Posted April 8, 2021 at 10:25 AM They've added a third show in Antwerp. I know it was considered at the time, but I wonder why they went through with it now. On the one hand I don't want to miss a show in my home country, but on the other hand I'm attending an obscene amount of shows already, I'm torn 😂 1 Quote

If and when she returns to Vegas I’m so really wondering what kind of show they will do and what the setlist will look like. At this point one would think they would have to do something super different to continue to sell out a city that for nearly 15 years she has sold out with essentially the same set list over the years. 1 Quote

CSCfan Posted April 11, 2021 at 12:56 PM Posted April 11, 2021 at 12:56 PM (edited) Don't know where to put this, but.... EXCLUSIVE Céline Dion Is 'Feeling Refreshed And Courageous' After Years Of Pushing 'Herself To Extremes,' Source Dishes Céline Dion has a new lease on life — and a much healthier outlook. An OK! source reports that the naturally svelte Grammy winner, who celebrated her 53rd birthday on March 30, had given in to stressors in recent years and hit a concerningly low weight, but is emerging from months at home "as a new woman. She has a fit figure and an optimistic mindset." After her husband of 22 years, René Angélil, passed away in 2016, Dion continued to find catharsis by belting out ballads onstage. But what fans don't know is that after completing her grueling eight-year Las Vegas residency, the prospect of embarking straight into a 2020 world tour left the Canadian songstress overworked and undernourished. "She had the appetite of a small bird," says the source, "and used to push herself to extremes in the studio and rehearsals. She always put her health last. "Céline is lucky to be alive," says the source, who estimates the hitmaker's weight plummeted to "96 pounds" in 2019. "She's taking much better care of herself." The postponement of her Courage Tour gave the mom-of-three "the chance to finally rest and focus on taking care of herself," continues the source. "Céline can't remember the last time she was able to sit down for three meals a day!" She's also gotten to spend more time with her loved ones. Besides enjoying quiet nights at home with her sons, Dion surrounded herself with "friends she trusts and can rely on, not the partying kind she used to hang with," explains the source. "Those people are gone from her life." Now, as Dion gears up to get back on the road, "she's feeling refreshed and courageous," adds the source. "This time away from the spotlight worked like a tonic, and the wheels are finally rolling in the right direction." Claudette? That sentence about her "party friends".. That sentence about her "party friends".. wow, I like that. Looks like she took her time to be crazy, but reflected and decided to take another path, the old Celine path. I also like that she finally had time for herself after years of hard work. Nobody can go on non stop. I hope that she got inspired and creative. Edited April 11, 2021 at 01:53 PM by ryba Quote
