but some will jump over me, I tell you - it's amusing.

I haven’t labeled you, you just wrote today you don’t like the kind of artist Celine is now.

 

How can I get from two PM from you back in December if you ever saw Celine in concert? I’m just asking because if you have never seen her why you care so much about the setlist? Any songs she sings will be new to you. Anyway, I don’t really care, Celine is visiting your country, you can decide if you want to see her or not.

I'm attending a concert tonight of a spanish singer, and I've been failing on finding the current setlist of the tour 😂 I've been asking on different groups in facebook but seems that nobody knows which songs exactly he is singing. Also in setlist.fm the setlist varies a lot

Mind giving a quick summary? My french is quit basic.

 

Doesn't surprise me that it was her idea. It would be great if in the last US show she invites a popular US artist on stage or maybe Lauv to duet Imp. with her (or LP for a special one time only performance of CMM *sigh*), then in last show of the UK Sam Smith for FTLTIL or if she brings back LD she can invite Sia.

I've noticed that in 2016/2017. Sometimes there were little changes a day after.

I think Kaven is also very 'free' with his guitar.

Can't wait to finally someday have professional recordings of these tours.

 

Seeing videos of TLBSEPT and “The Prayer” the past few concerts has made me really appreciate her band under Scott’s direction. The arrangements keep evolving, practically every week. Little flourishes of the guitar, the sax, and other instruments have kept any two performances from sounding the same. Back in the days of Mégo, each song sounded the same year after year after year. IMO It was very stale! So at least we have that to praise for this tour.

Then don't call it Courage world tour when promoting the new album certainly isn't the point of this tour.

Im curious about when this tour hits Europe and specially France ..

it’s really frustrating just 2 songs from the album, it can be understandable when u think she hasn’t toured US for idk... decades?

If there is a space for songs from David Bowie and Prince there could be space for few more songs from Courage. Dont think general audience is expecting to hear those covers songs so if she sings her own new songs efect for general audience will be at least same.

She likes the covers.. I don’t think she’ll remove them, she have fun with it

Dont think general audience of Celine is audience of David Bowie or Prince. Just my opinion.

But she does, and... i think at the end of the day that’s what matters.. she sings Prince since 2015

I don’t know.. she loves the medley, maybe 2 medleys...

It was cool but it takes a lot and it got boring for us, not for “non hard core fans” coz a friend of mine attended the concert and LOVED this part and the because you loved me ending.. while I’m sooo sick of it lol

I can see the setlist changing in Europe where she's been in the last few years with those set lists being similar. For the fans it would be nice, but in 2017 the medley worked for fans, but not for the general audience. She could perform for example Immortality, Ashes and another song or Courage songs instead of the medley.

But 2 out of 24 of his own songs in full

 

A little off topic, but just wanted to state that celine isn't very different to other artists...

I am all in for medleys of her own songs.

An uptempo medley, and an acoustic one with just her songs. Easiest way to add 'more' of her own songs and have 2 styles mixed.

Let's say 3-4 songs per medley. I think many of us will be pleased

I’d say one of the major reasons people respond so well to the current medley is because the visuals are outstanding. Flashing neons, colorful lights, sparkly jumpsuit, etc. Sadly, Céline’s own repertoire is lacking in upbeat funky songs.

 

With how much she’s played up her love of Prince, Queen & Stevie Wonder over the years, I was really hoping Courage would have some more Rock/Funk/Gospel sounds on it. “How Did You Get Here” has a doo-wop vibe, but the beat isn’t as energetic as these covers she’s doing...
