sarit_celine Posted February 20, 2020 at 03:09 PM Posted February 20, 2020 at 03:09 PM Wow, such negativity and such anger here. What artiste offers 4 differents shows in 4 years. Nobody. Of course, the tour isn't perfect. But, it's her tour and she sing what she wants to sing. Accept it ! Hey I'm just staying true to reality and facts, and to her own words "A tour we've never seen before, some new gems they have found in 3am in the morning, something special" but then you will get the LV on wheels for the #45456664 time. She doesn't give any motivation to want to go and see her. Who would believe this is what I will think about one of my very favorite singers. I'm staying with her old stuff that I pretty much still enjoy to hear, and yes enjoying also some songs from her recent album. 1 Quote "Needed in the chaos and confusion, from the plains to City HallNeeded where the proud who walk the wire are set to fall"

Popular Post Chantemoi Posted February 20, 2020 at 03:40 PM Popular Post Posted February 20, 2020 at 03:40 PM Seeing videos of TLBSEPT and “The Prayer” the past few concerts has made me really appreciate her band under Scott’s direction. The arrangements keep evolving, practically every week. Little flourishes of the guitar, the sax, and other instruments have kept any two performances from sounding the same. Back in the days of Mégo, each song sounded the same year after year after year. IMO It was very stale! So at least we have that to praise for this tour. 9 Quote
AdrienneM Posted February 20, 2020 at 04:17 PM Posted February 20, 2020 at 04:17 PM Such a flop tour. Remaining dates should be cancelled immediately and Celine retire right after. Literally 33/34 dates were 100% sold out and you can bet the recent shows are gonna be completely sold out too when they come in. Stadiums, festivals and massive arenas across Europe sold out in minutes needing extra dates added, over 180,000 tickets in Paris sold in minutes, both Oslo shows and both Dublin shows sold out instantly, entire festivals sold out in under an hour and second dates (in one case even 3 dates) in almost every major city announced... but sure, a gargantuan flop 3 Quote

quebec555 Posted February 20, 2020 at 04:54 PM Posted February 20, 2020 at 04:54 PM (edited) I know I’m nitpicking but DUAM was neither first nor second on the 2016 tour setlist. Plus, it’s a song that people do expect. I agree with the rest though. DUAM was never really a hit. She loves performing it more than Destin or other uptempo hits, but was never really expected by the fans I believe. It's been first or second song in shows of: LTAL 1999, Plaines 2008, Plaines 2013, Tour 2013, Tour 2017, Tour 2019-20. Edited February 20, 2020 at 04:55 PM by quebec555 1 Quote

manu23 Posted February 20, 2020 at 06:52 PM Posted February 20, 2020 at 06:52 PM Some people really has plenty of time in their hands. You maybe? Why spending time on a forum of an artist that you don't like anymore? And just so you know, you are not giving facts. You are intentionally trying to mislead. You are calling a 99% sold out tour with one of the highest avg. ticket price a flop by just mentioning a city where the show sold worse. But that’s an exception not the rule. And in Israel one of the shows will be completely sold out and the second one we’ll see. Although you shouldn’t care that much, as you won’t be there anyway. 6 Quote

However consider this, me complaining after a single show I ACTUALLY ATTENDED, is not comparable to endless whining and bitching made over 6 months with no end AND YOU HAVENT EVEN SEEN THE SHOW! And guess what!: I was right. The live version of Imperfections is shoddy at best 1 Quote

How if I wasn't writing here for so long, Manu? And see, what you fail to see, I wrote to Xpresso and then some will come and reply unrelvant stuff. Maybe you missed the reason I came to write here, that was because they talked about Celine today on the radio that her shows are not sold out here yet - so yes, these are facts, giving away tickets in 20$ to fill seats are facts (all the links on that on the net), singing unchanged selitst is a fact, she is not doing anything creative with this Tour, I really have no idea why you write that I try to mislead. Another sad fact is that I've heard nothing about her new music over here since she had Courage out, it's quite sad (or funny) if they want to bring her to give 2(!) gigs but she is like not exist on radio nor Tv. (in 2002 she was and that's all). 1 Quote "Needed in the chaos and confusion, from the plains to City HallNeeded where the proud who walk the wire are set to fall"
