Ah! Maybe it's about rights that it's not on Spotify then... or that version of the collection isn't there (how many versions did they do of the "TC Killer"? And why?)

 

Actually I have it on my Spotify (not under the Essential album though but under a Morricone best of) and listen to it quite often. Like it very much. So Hollywoodesque at its finest: not grand, but delicate.

 

I suppose Spotify is "regionalized".

 

If I am not wrong I Knew I Loved You was on the US and French versions, but not on the European version of the 2CD Essential. Maybe then it is not available everywhere

Nice songs! Prayer I could do without. However it's a beautiful song with great production but can come off as a bit booring and I am finding it hard to think it would work live.

 

Nice to see someone liking RNTTRO! So many *CENSORED* about it beeing crap. I can't understand that at all. Not single material but mighty fine for an album filler!

If there is one French song for an English concert, it will always be PQTME. At least in the US. “The French Album” was specifically marketed for non Francophone countries, and promoted nicely in the US with PQTME being performed. It’s the most well known French song of her catalogue to her non French speaking fans. It’s a given that it will always be the French song in any English concert.

Bullshit, 90% of the people attending each concert in the USA wouldn’t know the difference between PQTME or any other song from

her French material...so I beg to differ that she could literally perform any song she wanted and it wouldn’t matter because the majority wouldn’t even understand it. Hence that jazz boring French song she did in Vegas instead of PQTME. However, more French speakers were in Vegas from abroad than will most likely travel to say Chicago to see Celine on a world tour that will most likely stop in their home country or closer than USA to their country if not so their own.
