Chantemoi Posted September 12, 2019 at 04:45 AM Posted September 12, 2019 at 04:45 AM (edited) It seems they've been mining the back catalog - https://www.journaldequebec.com/2019/09/12/le-compte-a-rebours-est-bien-commence « On a eu des meetings qui duraient jusqu’à trois heures du matin. Parfois, elle dit : “on va écouter toutes mes chansons” ! Et on redécouvre des petits bijoux. »Also, according to Elise, "lots of things they haven't done before". This makes me quite hopeful to hear some old Marnay/Plamondon songs!! I would LOVE to hear « Oxygène », and « Je danse dans ma tête » needs to be a staple - that song is even more relevant today than ever before. Her English songs are less easily grouped by songwriter, but I wouldn’t mind some deep cuts from the early 90s and practically anything from One Heart (the forgotten album). I’d consider “Miracle” as “the forgotten album” before “One Heart.” “One Heart” has “I Drove All Night” and “Have You Ever Been In Love” to help push its sales and placement in her catalogue. Quote

With the right visuals, it could be a breathtaking number. 4 Quote

I don’t think it’s too far-fetched, seeing as how she sang Love Is All We Need in 2017. To be fair, “Love Is All We Need” had been rehearsed for “A New Day...” years ago. So, she had some memory of singing it live. So, it wasn’t that crazy that she eventually brought it on tour. “Reveal,” on the hand, has never been performed live, nor reheased. At least not to my knowledge. I’d love to see it brought to life onstage, though! 1 Quote

Hardly alot That’s more than enough, for a song written by a cry baby writer who caused problems. She sang it at rare events even when not promoting the LMBTL album like the Today Show a few years back. Just randomly. 1 Quote

isurrender Posted September 12, 2019 at 08:22 AM Posted September 12, 2019 at 08:22 AM Guys here are amazing. Complaints all day long but as soon as someone from the outside says something "wrong" about Céline, that's the end of the world. Everytime WAAF is brought up, someone has to tell about his writer. Like it made the headlines and was a big controversy. Nobody cared. And if they did, so what? He was true. Céline is not the best singer to promote her writers . Yes she says she's not writing her stuff but that's it. We have more insights from the writers themselves. 1 Quote
mirage Posted September 12, 2019 at 08:38 AM Posted September 12, 2019 at 08:38 AM Yeah they seem to talk about it in many articles. Guess she will do the same setlist in France though. It still can be possible 40 songs, if she adds in like 3 or 4 medleys we can reach that number easily. Maybe they squeeze all the oldies in a few medleys. Still better than no oldies And Scott talked about forty songs , means a lot....maybe just for the french shows. 2 Quote

I don’t care what he said about Celine... look through all my posts I hardly agree with every decision she makes.., however WAAF is a garbage song, and yeah the crybaby writer didn’t help. He probably got a hefty sum for getting Celine to cut the song in the first place. Edited September 12, 2019 at 08:47 AM by Nmj Quote

The "ignore button" is such a silly comment.I don't get the point to come on a forum if I have to block posts. I would use any other social network for news only. Such a narrow minded post...unbelievable. So we just have to agree or ignore ? Is it a joke? You need some kind of approval for your opinion? That's maybe why Céline is ignoring us : because she doesn't like our comments. Lol 1 Quote
