There is a group of us meeting up in QC for opening night if you and Tyler want to join.

 

I'm happy to, just let me know when and where! I'm staying pretty close to the venue I believe. I'll have 3 friends in tow also...

I wonder if there are going to be bars with a Celine theme that night!

If Celine does wind up performing at least one song she’s never done, which one do you all realistically think it could be? Not that you wish for, but the one you actually think has a legit chance of being included.

 

I think possible never before songs that she may do, ( however these are my guesses that have the best chance; not necessarily my top choices)

 

1. “Thank You”

2. “Breakaway” ( only lipped to studio once)

3. “Just A Little Bit of Love”

4. “Ten Days”

5. “Dreamin’ Of You”

6. “A World To Believe In” (solo live for first time)

7. “In His Touch”

 

But since she brought back the lead guitarist of “Dreamin Of You” I’m hoping that she does it!

I’m hoping for a remodel of BYLM, its been stale for years now, needs to be more explosive like the album version instead of watered down OR completely stripped down but that in between version they’ve been doing isn’t working that great for it being one of her biggest hits. Also the backing vocals are way to low for chorus of the song.

Well shes brought back the guy who played guitar on Dreamin of You to play guitar on tour, so that would seem logical, id also maybe say something uptempo like Just a Little Bit Of Love could be a possibility, maybe on the french side something like Si Je N’ai Rien De Toi as it has a more rock vibe, or maybe La Mémoire D’Abraham for its symbolic meaning

From everything I read, the “Stand By Your Side” rumor turned out to be nothing more than a hoax. It’s a shame. The song is gorgeous.

I think most people are at the Marriott but it was fully booked when I tried. A couple of other hotels were book as well (can’t remember which one) so I ended up at the Hotel Palace Royal. https://www.hotelsjaro.com/palace-royal/en/

 

It’s an 11 min drive to Centre Videotron according to google maps. The website I used to book it said it was a $9-13 Uber ride.

What a personally would LOVE to hear is Contre Nature. I absolutely adore that song. Je lui durai as well. English wise - I think the most likely would contenders would be IYAMT as part of a medley, SLS - midtempo and not difficult to sing, I’d love WFTM and TYLAM. If they’re going to do some medleys, we might gets little snippets (one verse/chorus) of several of her back catalogue. This tour sounds like it’s shaping it to me quite an interesting one!

I want crowd pleasers that we’d be thrilled with as well. Resurrecting If You Asked Me To makes a ton of sense. If the crowds don’t respond well, the songs will be cut so fast our heads will spin! So they might as well steer clear of crazy obscure songs. (For that, Celine should do an anti tour or a One Night Only that’s filmed — where she only sings obscure songs).

 

Songs that the general public might even be familiar with:

Water From The Moon, Nothing Broken But My Heart & Did You Give Enough Love all seem like strong contenders.

 

Declaration of Love would be a delight! I would also love Then You Look At Me but I’m not sure that one would be so much a crowd pleaser as it would satisfy our deep rooted desire as diehard fans to hear that song live.
