Yes I was rude and arrogant. Sorry. But this user is Dion2000, she/he has two accounts (at least), and has caused trouble before, and I'm not the first one to say she/he is very arrogant in her tone and the way she addresses fans here, as if she knew absolutely everything about Celine's career when she was born in 1995!!! I mean, she was 2 years old (TWO!!!) in the heydays of Celine, only 7 before Celine entered Vegas and yet she talks as if she has witnessed every TV show around that time and was aware chapter and verse of everything that was going in back in the golden days of Celine. I don't apologise for that, sorry

I’m cutting it closer. I’m flying into Montreal that morning - if all goes well, I’ll land at 9:45 and then I’m taking off on Rail Canada at 11:55 arriving in Quebec City at 4:25. Gives me just enough to get to the hotel check in, freshen up, grab a quick bite to eat and get to the venue!

 

I hope the travel gods will be with the both of us that day!

Guess she will do the same setlist in France though.

 

It still can be possible 40 songs, if she adds in like 3 or 4 medleys we can reach that number easily.

Maybe they squeeze all the oldies in a few medleys. Still better than no oldies

Also, remember, they rehearsed both Declaration of Love and Love is All We Need for Vegas but then those songs didn’t end up in the actual show. If she follows her usual pattern, the first few shows will have 25-27 songs and then they’ll cut them down to 20 once they lock in the show as will be for most of the tour.

So true! I often wonder why they cut they songs they do. Is it because Celine finds them difficult to sing (and doesn’t want to create a lip track for them) or is it audience reaction (or non-reaction) to the songs that cause them to cut? Or is it just that they think the show is too long and they cut obscure tracks instead of well-known ones?

 

Only 6 days til we know the beginning setlist for sure!

It would be VERY surprising... Especially since Scott Price said "she will perform songs she hasn't done in a long time". He never said about "songs she never performed before" 😋😉

Im bumping mine back to 430 because the 315 option had a 40 minute layover and it makes me nervous. The 430 option has an extra hour. I figure i should be to my hotel by 530 or 6 at the very latest and shouldn't be too long at the hotel to get to the show. Hotel is 20 min from airport and venue is less than 2 miles from hotel.

 

If celine is on closer to 9 like id guess we def have enough time. Im just not exactly sure when she takes the stage

Is that confirmed? I can't exactly imagine 7:30 on the dot she starting. Even if she does i still think 3 hours will be enough time for me to land, deplane, go through customs, taxi to hotel, and possibly walk the 1.7 mile from hotel to venue but maybe taxi idk.

Well there has been zero announcement (shes announced every other opener shes ever had) and the Skylar rumour has had no fruition so i think thats the case. I also dont see 7:30 happening , but 8pm even 8:30 wouldnt surprise me. But yeah, you’ll have plenty of time

We’ve not got any confirmation that there will be an opening act. But also not confirmed there won’t be. It *is* possible that for the first run of shows, especially because those tend to have more songs and be longer, that she forgoes a support act until the US. Still...no way she’ll start right at 7:30. I’m sure, at the earliest, she’ll start at 8.

 

I’m like you, getting in at 4:30. I’ve got a 12 min Uber ride from the rail station to the hotel and then a 9 min ride from the hotel to the venue so I know I’ve got plenty of time to check in, grab a quick bite, and still get to the venue with time to spare. I’m sure you’ll be the same.

Well shes brought back the guy who played guitar on Dreamin of You to play guitar on tour, so that would seem logical, id also maybe say something uptempo like Just a Little Bit Of Love could be a possibility, maybe on the french side something like Si Je N’ai Rien De Toi as it has a more rock vibe, or maybe La Mémoire D’Abraham for its symbolic meaning
