Oh lord, If they make this a Celinenunu tour featuring children dressed in black singing the chorus to LCMM, I’ll bust out laughing!

 

Somehow it wouldn’t surprise me

 

Rumor has it we will have Let's Talk About Love 2019 version performed in the tour, with a choir of Celinunu children all dressed in black tunics and wearing skulls as lanterns

I hope she saves that for the party segment (and that that includes Reveal and SFL - one can dream right? 😁).

 

If she hasn't got much else planned for the party segmemt but the backing vocals doing a cringe medley of covers + her doing LCMM/RDMH I think it would be unwise to burn her only party song elsewhere.

 

 

 

 

I have a feeling that she’ll open with FOMO, hope not tho.

Never thought I would use the ignore list, but when I'm at a point where I know what someone is posting by just seeing their username, I no longer see the point of wading through the post.

 

It's sad that so many of my favourite posters left because of 3 or 4 'repeaters'...What's worse is that the 'repeaters' now believe they're representing 'fan opinion' when they're being mocked all over social media...

So whoever's thinking of leaving, just use that ignore list y'all, it really does help 😊

I just don’t understand. I think she has been creative with tour setlist since the mini tour in 2013. She brought back old songs and performed New songs.

Yeah! I definitely don't have time for all that. Between my daughter, work, and life in general, when I do make it on here I don't have time to wade through all of that. Nor do I have time or will I put up with name calling and being baited into arguments with someone I've never met. We can all be better with that. Disagreement discussions are one thing but ppl on here get outright mean and b*&$#@. Sorry, next please lol. If someone says something like that to me I ignore it and move on. I don't even bother responding. It's not worth my time. Part of why I'm here less than I used to be.

 

That said there are several of you on here I respect and enjoy reading your theories!! A lot of time it's something I hadn't thought about previously. I love the in depth, read between the lines posts that occasionally find their way on here.

 

Personally I think the futuristic shirts are cute and I wouldn't mind seeing it as an addition to the tour merch. My daughter would love it!! I think we're all just so excited for the tour to finally start. Wednesday will be pretty telling, I think, as to what a majority of the set list will be; save 7-8 French songs traded out for English ones for the English set list. I'd love it if we got a song from EUS as our one French song. I love PQTME but she always does that one. I understand why but I'm ready for a change. Newer fans that only really know the newer stuff won't know the significance of that song yet so I don't think they'd miss it.

If I really offended you I can understand. okay I may come over as a constant complainer but I have been following Celine for years, seen her several times in concert and it just dissapointments me that there is not much going on. The setlists do not change - hopefully this time they finally do.

and about the fashion - great she has so much fun with it - but even with a new album. On its way there is not much being shown except the next fashion photoshoot. it is great all the attention she gets but musicwise and her as a singer I wished she gave that attention as well. It has been a while.

She likes to act, she likes to wear fashion - then why not recording a great video to promote fomo? I hope that does translate in this tour. I am then all in for as many fashion in this show if it makes the show even better.

 

Again she is my favorite artist and I love listening to her but yes she is getting older and this might be her last tour for years to come. Let's hope the tour will bring her succes and that it will bring everything we all hope it to be.

Something like TC Tour opening, something that make the excitement grow with a video intro.

 

I miss that, a proper intro and a cohesive concert

I miss Jamie King, he put an amazing show

I remember how crazy we went with the video of Celine getting ready to drive the car, with the IDAN intro 😍

 

I need video interludes, just like other singers tours

Im quite tired of just a musical intro and then Celine just appears on stage.

 

I mean, this is a World Tour, not just like the mini tours we had in the past years.

And speaking of songs, hopefully Scott stop to make every song with the boring orchestral arrangement, we've been listening the dam* orchestra since 2011.

I miss the strong bass type of sound we had in the past.

I have no clue why to make a big deal when one member here might be asking to have a brief summary here and there

regarding the French articles about Celine.

 

Either I don't like it, when some members here will write "go and find

out what the article says". One don't want to help? great, then ignore and move on.

 

In other artist's forum (Not of Celine of course ) I see members asking to know what a certain article says,

which was written in a foreign language, then people from their own willing, who understands the certain foreign language

will come and share what it says and no one is making a big deal of it.

 

But the nicest thing of all that I saw, again, not on this forum was when a memeber wanted to get a lovely post he wrote

about his artist, to have it translated into a foreign language - memebers went and offered their help.

This is precisely my situation. My introduction to her French music was actually Encore Un Soir. It's my #1 favorite out of all her French songs because it's really good and it holds a special place because it was the first I heard.

 

Just like Ashes and Loved Me Back to Life are special and favorites because they were the first songs I heard from Celine (that weren't the greatest hits) that turned me into a fan of hers.

Probably not gonna change them but oh well. Still, the 5 months since the tours announcement has dragged by and the days leading up have got longer and longer lol. But its 4 days... honestly, im so excited.

In regard to saying the setlists do not change i really would like for you to think about that.

 

Since 2015 celine has performed maybe 85 songs or so?? I remember after the 2017 tour i made a big chart about this and it was just under 80. Even as disappointing as the 2018 setlist was, we still added unison, chfil, at 17, ashes, tlym, and fiy. Then in 2019 we've added fomo, change is gonna come, and imagine.

 

I can't think of anyone else in their 50s or as far in their career as celine who has sang that many different songs in such a recent time.

 

Yes sometimes the sets are not as we wish. But overall the efforts of 2015 to 2019 have been huge!!! If i go back to 2013 these numbers would be huge because thats when it really started. 2005-2012 seen almost no changes of relevance unless it was a cover.

I fully agree with you Tyler!! She has performed many different songs.... they might not always be the ones we get excited about but they have made many changes....

 

I’m hoping for good production for this tour and not the basic setup that they keep using.

Sure it's nice vid a top notch intro vid. But I'd rather have a nice concert intro music wise - the 2017 one was great, the 2018 really said NOTHING... "if it ain't broken don't fix it".

 

I have NOTHING against orchstra and Céline, but if it's supposed to sound the way it has been since she added the "orchestra" I agree with you: drop it.

 

And like I said before: for the costume changes i would really like videos with clips different old interviews (funny or meaningful) and key performances throughout her career… or montages of her fashion adventures throughout the years.
