but RC name is because of Rene (Angelil) and Celine's paternal grandfather, Charles

Yes, she told it during one of the Rosie interviews! Yeah, maybe they proposed to him????

 

Yes, and she also says it in the Lifetime Intimate Portrait documentary (such a great telling of the proposal story; they alternate Celine and Rene telling the story).

 

Sometimes people decide to get married without a formal moment of proposal where they present a ring -- my guess is that's what happened in those 2 instances.

I think that's a nice question, and the answer is lovely.

 

On the other hand, if it were a question like this, I would definitely say you had too much time on your hands:

 

Do yall think that they chose to sing Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi at the Eurovision Song Contest because the first word in it comprises the last two letters in their names, Rene and Celine? :lmao:

I think she gets hydrated a lot, and she's been taken care of when she goes backstage for a quick change. And that song is amazing.

There is a picture out there somewhere, I think she was in Malaysia or someplace very tropical, where she was sweating.... you could tell because her hair was flat!

Only a few US tv shows i think. Hardly any.

I was trying to recall that, and I also think there was hardly any, as the album was pretty much rushed to coincide with the opening night of AND... But the televised opening night special was in itself a huge promo for the album, as I remember there were lots of commercials featuring Celine, OH, and Chrysler.

Does anyone know where I can find the original music video for Have You Ever Been in Love? The "live" performance one that's included on the CD single? If I remember correctly, Celine was wearing a yellow dress. I can't find it on YouTube, and I don't want to unseal my HYEBIL CD single to watch it :)

No, the stage was much smaller, and very simple. No LED screens, just curtains, I think. And her hair was curlyish and shortish. It was meant to be the official music video, until they decided to go with the whole dried-lake-becomes-raging-river concept.

But the televised opening night special was in itself a huge promo for the album, as I remember there were lots of commercials featuring Celine, OH, and Chrysler.

 

There's also de documentary One year -One heart with recording sessions...

But yeah, the promotion focused on the AND show, where she sang IDAN and HYEBIL, so that was like a big promo for the album
