Lol, I think shoes are hard for a man to buy for a woman! For some reason I don't see Rene buying her shoes. Yep, I think getting her Adele would be easier! :laugh:

Huh, I'm watching the AND DVD all access, and wondering if anyone has discussed this before.. the supposed "24 hours" is actually put together from different shows? Haha started noticing little discrepancies like.. Jean Sebastian has somehow had a hair cut before and after TLYM

That's no surprise in Brazil... It's common to sell unofficial discs in the stores, the same as That's Just The Woman In Me on BD/DVD.

Really? Well maybe it's not so unofficial, maybe it was released by some subdivision of Sony or who knows... Maybe an exclusive of that supermarket

I had a look on the calender section for this month, and it says Celines birthday is the 29th March, is'nt it the 30th March? :hmm:

On her website, there's a picture of her singing NMQP, and in the background we can see the white trees that show up on the screen. When I saw the show in Vegas in August of last year, I didn't remember seeing them. Are they still using this background or was I just so into watching Celine that I didn't even notice them?

I've been debating whether I should buy the That's Just the Woman in Me DVD from ebay. Is it not a good idea? Even if it's a bootleg, you mention that's a really good bootleg! Would I be wasting my money?

Ha that's funny...............'cause I don't remember any background at all either! I was too focused on Celine. :giggle:

I don't remember any background either when I went in January . .in fact, what I remember noticing was that the entire screen was completely back except for the circle of light on Celine's face, and it got into more and more of a closeup on her face as the song went on. I remember thinking that the completely black background must be there to make it even more dramatic. (Unless I just missed the trees too!)

We also have That's Just the Woman in Me on DVD or Blu-Ray. They're not official, but sell like water...

Not exactly. The manufacter actually buys the reproduction rights of the TV shows. Celine isn't the only one. It's not exactly illegal, I actually find it really nice. They buy the rights from the broadcast channel and reproduce it on medias they can sell... We have Alanis Morissette, Britney Spears, Madonna, Cher, Celine.....

 

By now, Celine probably has more discarded projects than released ones.

Isn't it without the talking parts?? The performances were ok, but for me the talking bits were the best bits!! Its only the songs that are on the dvd.
