I was thinking about what Celine said about being asked the same questions over her career. The difference in the English interviews and the French ones are that the French throw in questions in about JJG. :in_love: :)

So, I was watching the Beyoncé lip sync video.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klW4zOU3NYY

 

And I noticed that she goes all diva in there, at one point ripping the ear piece out (as if it was interfering) and burst into song, as if it to prove that she doesn't even need feedback to help her sing. But since it turns out she was actually lip syncing, well, we now know that was all an act.

 

Has Celine ever done anything similar? Has Celine ever been called out for obviously lip syncing? Are there times where Celine has diva moments like that when she's in fact obviously lipping? And why hasn't Celine gotten any sort of backlash ever even though she's been doing it for a long time? Beyoncégate is madness. I'm scared of what could happen if Celine is ever caught lipping like that.

My opinion on the Beyonce lip synch is the same as all lipping. I feel it is a lie to the fans and the audience at hand. Artists who are advertised and promoted specifically for their voice should sing! If you are a singer...sing! Overdubbing for TV or DVD production is different. But a live performance is, or should be, a live performance. If it was too cold, if her throat was sore, if she was too nervous (I don't think so), then she should have cancelled and let someone willing to perform live do it. There just is no excuse. Backing vocals on a pre-recorded tape is a different issue. Lip synching is a lie.

You know guys, last night i listened to 'Would I Know' (haven't done it in probably more than 1 year) and kind of re-discovered it. It's a beautiful song, I'm still wondering why it didn't make it to the album (it was meant for 'All The Way', right?).

I just returned from our vacation to the Czech Republic, and of course I needed to visit the gorgeous Ploskovice castle, where some of the "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" video took place. The place is really breathtaking:

im just watching Au Coeur Du Stade, and when Celine does the medley, why does she uses a standard with i guess sheet music?

 

she never did that, but only in the LTAL tour for the medley but why only for those songs?

I think they added the standard to add to the medley to give that acoustic feel to the medley and also to make people believe she doesn't know the songs well, cos they.are not hers... But knowing Celine even if she did, she would know them by heart after singing them three times :lmao:

 

 

After LCMM Terry and Barnev after him, were 'playing' the crowd untill the Saturday Night medley Began..

 

I think they cut a lot for ACDS.... I can't believe Immortality and Tell Him weren't part of the show...

the french medley is totally hers ;-)

 

oh yeah on millenium show Barnev and crew are trying to get the audience sing-a-long with them!

 

I dont know the exact tracklist, but I find it sooo stupid that they've cut those songs, always wonder why they do such things.

It's not like there is not enough space...

 

They also did that with RDMH on LAP, so strange, but somewhere on youtube is the video of it, how that one got on there is for me a mystery.

But i would loved to see Immortality, and Tell Him :D

 

Also Je Crois Toi and Terre should be in her playlist... :wub:

RDMH was shown on tv when the concert was aired - titled This Is Celine Dion. They showed half the concert, including RDMH. But unfortunately when they released the video they were denied permission to include the song.
