That's amazing, Mike. :w00t: Thank you for showing the pic, I had never seen a copy of it. Was it an Argentinian release?

Hey Luisma, nope! it was Chilean! Promo only! Contains the 2 versions of the song.

It's really gorgeous! Congrats! Oh, yes, I was wondering about track number 2, thanks for clarifying. ;)

It's basically the same song.. the arrangements change a bit, as well as the tempo, which is slightly slower. They pitched her voice a little bit on the album version actually.

Probably it's the movie version... I have yet to watch the whole movie.

It was amazing when there were so many CD singles released in South America that were never available elsewhere. I've been lucky to get my hands on a couple of items. ^_^

I have the argentinean radio promo singles for "Tell Him" and IACBTMN those are pretty rare too! but not as rare as the TYLAM single

The TYLAM promo does take the crown. Good for you! I hope you'll never get to sell it.

Yup, I know it's worth a lot of money :P (among other very rare stuff I've got!)

I've had it for a decade already so I don't remember! I know it was here in Argentina, from a collector.

I was once offered 300 pounds for it, but I didn't give it up! :P

Good luck, I've been trying to find it for about forever.

Has Celine ever mentioned which of her own songs is her favourite?

Has Celine ever mentioned which of her own songs is her favourite?

'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face', 'All The Way' and 'Une Chance Qu'on S'a'.

She looked HOT with the black long hair for the 'Live (For The One I Love)' video.

'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face', 'All The Way' and 'Une Chance Qu'on S'a' are all covers, right? But I myself would like to know which of her original songs she loves. I think she likes HYEBIL but I'm not quite sure.

I remember she said Miracle is one of her faves. She said that in an interview with Oprah but I don't remember the year

Maybe that's why she doesn't sing it if it is one of her favorites?? You know, so she doesn't get tired of it? I sure wish she would! I can't imagine her favorites being BYLM or TPOL or even MHWGO.... just due to the sheer number of times she has had to sing them!

I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

It was the 2004 interview with Oprah where she sang Miracle with David Foster on piano (It may have been in the "After the Show" segment). Oprah asked for her top 3 favorite songs, and she said that her # 1 favorite will always be the one her mother wrote for her (Ce N'Etait Qu'un Reve). Then I think she said that another favorite was Miracle (but I think that was because it was at that point in time when she'd just recorded it). And she couldn't decide on a third and audience members started saying names of songs they loved. .

She and Rene also both loved The Colour of My Love - and made it their own wedding song.

Especially MHWGO, I think we all know that she disliked it the first time she heard it.

I would love to ask Celine what song from each of her albums she would have released as a single (of the ones that weren't, of course).

Me also! I wonder if she would ever tell? Does she have a say in that? I would think there are songs that she has recorded that she loved and they never saw the light of day!

Very good question. It seems that other people (her team) decide what to be released and I suspect they don't ask for her opinion. As far as I remember, in the 'A l'Olympia' concert she said right before performing 'Elle' that she doesn't choose which song to be played on the radio but she loves this one and would like to sing it. Maybe the situation hasn't changed much since then.

This is a bit random but I looooove this song from 1981.

The Celine connection? It won the Eurovision, and it was written by Andy Hill, who also wrote "Think Twice" and "Only One Road".

Thank you!!! I love "The Land Of Make Believe". I don't usually listen to the old Celine songs, and I listened to it a long time ago and I was like... OMG this sounds very familiar. How stupid of me!!

Something funny I just found out is that I've been playing Peter Cetera's "Restless Heart" a lot these days, and it was also written by Andy Hill.

Céline used to say in the 90's that Je Sais Pas was a favourite song and a song that is really about how she feels about René

Thank you Davey. Makes a lot of sense: "et la vie sans toi, je sais pas"

For the record, Andy Hill didn't write OOR as I said before. I meant "Call The Man". :P
